DC Superhero Comedy ‘Wonder Twins’ Not Going Forward at HBO Max
The live-action DC Superhero Comedy “Wonder Twins” movie is not going forward at HBO Max.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal published on Wednesday, Warner Bros. Discovery Head David Zaslav, “deemed its estimated 75 million-plus budget too high and its return too limited for a made-for-streaming movie.”

According to an insider with knowledge of the project, the film was never greenlit.

Riverdale” star Kj Apa and “1883” breakout Isabel May were previously set to star, as first reported TheWrap.

As graduation looms and Victor tries to determine who he wants to (re)start a relationship with, the high school senior hopes to just “go back to that perfect moment” of falling in love for the first time.

The British Film Commission (Bfc) and the Italian Film Commissions (IFC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that seeks to facilitate high-end film and TV production collaboration between the two countries.

The idea is to boost opportunities and incentives for big productions shot in both territories, such as Disney’s “The Little Mermaid,” which was filmed in the U.K. and Sardinia, Universal’s “No Time To Die” and the upcoming live-action “Pinocchio” directed by Robert Zemeckis for Disney+.

The wait for more “Stranger Things” is almost over, with the first portion of the Netflix show’s highly anticipated fourth season dropping next Friday.

Much has been made of Netflix’s decision to split “Stranger Things 4” into two volumes, with one batch of episodes streaming on May 27 and more being released on July 1. But until now, little was known about how the streamer planned to split up the season.

Volume 1 will contain Episodes 1 through 7, with Volume 2 finishing the story with Episodes 8 and 9. Netflix recently revealed that episodes 7 through 9 are both feature-length, ensuring that both volumes receive a proper ending.

“Stranger Things 4” is truly an epic endeavor, with the nine episodes containing five more hours of footage than any of the previous seasons. With “Stranger Things 5” scheduled to be the final season of the blockbuster show, “Stranger Things 4” has quite a bit of foundation to lay for the series finale.
