WA drivers offered $3500 electric vehicle rebate on one hand, taxes on the other
Electric and hydrogen owners will be taxed 2.5 cents per kilometre from 2027 and plug-in hybrid owners will have to pay 2 cents, with the rate to be tied to rises in the consumer price index.
