Who can become an application assistant?

Application assistants are employees of a state or local agency, or of a nonprofit program that provides counseling, referral, shelter or other specialized service to victims of domestic abuse, rape, sexual assault or stalking, and are designated by their respective agencies to become certified as ACP application assistants. Prospective application assistants must complete a training program provided by the ACP and may call 1-866-SAFE-ADD (1-866-723-3233) to schedule a training.
