Netflix has ordered an adult animated series based on the card game “Exploding Kittens,” starring “Lucifer” star Tom Ellis and Lucy Liu. A new mobile game adaptation, “Exploding Kittens – The Game,” is being co-developed and will launch via the streamer in May, well ahead of the TV show’s planned 2023 debut.

The show, which is executive produced by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, follows the eternal conflict between Heaven and Hell as it reaches epic proportions when both God and the Devil are sent to Earth – in the bodies of chunky house cats.

Former Survivor: Redemption Island contestant Ralph Kiser has died at the age of 56.

Kiser passed away on Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack, his family tells The Sun.

Survivor superfan Michael Allbright also shared the news in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

“I have some unfortunate news for the Survivor community,” Allbright wrote. “Ralph Kiser passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack this morning.

The split between the public John Wayne Gacy and the private one is among the most chilling in true crime history. Gacy, who lived and killed in Illinois in the 1970s, was the life of the party, a Democratic precinct captain, and an occasional birthday clown who threw backyard barbecues and offered gainful employment to many local young men.

But underneath his veneer of generosity, Gacy was a self-loathing narcissist and psychopath whose largesse was bait for sex with teenage boys, and once he got what he wanted, the threat of exposing his sexuality led him to brutally torture and murder them. Some of their corpses were buried under the very backyard fire pit where he entertained them. Others, in his basement.

Ultimately, Gacy killed 33 boys and young men, with only a few surviving those attacks. One of those survivors was Steve Nemmers, who outsmarted Gacy as a teenager and now,

The special, debuting, fittingly, on Earth Day on Friday, April 22, on the streaming service, follows the elite climber and “a world-class climbing team led by National Geographic Explorer and climber Mark Synnott on a grueling mission deep in the Amazon jungle as they attempt a first-ascent climb up a 1,000 foot sheer cliff,” according to Disney+. “Their goal is to deliver legendary biologist and National Geographic Explorer Bruce Means to the top of a massive ‘island in the sky’ known as a tepui.” Dr. Means is determined to complete his life’s work by searching the cliff wall for undiscovered animal species. George Lopez and Mayan Lopez’s NBC comedy pilot “Lopez vs. Lopez” has cast Laci Mosley and Kiran Deol in recurring roles and set Kelly Park to direct, Variety has learned exclusively.

The multi-cam pilot starring the Lopezes is described as a working-class family comedy about dysfunction, reconnection and all the pain and joy in between.

Mosley will play Brookie, Mayan’s co-worker and best friend who always knows what’s trending (and sometimes it’s her feet pics). Deol will play Dr. Pocha, the veterinarian who employs Mayan and Brookie and is better at saving pets than talking to people.

Showtime has formally greenlit the limited series “Fellow Travelers” starring Matt Bomer.

Showtime has given the series an eight episode order. Variety exclusively reported the show was in the works at the premium cabler in September 2021.

Jada Pinkett Smith’s talk show, “Red Table Talk,” returned on Wednesday, and though there was a brief message for viewers alluding to the topic on everyone’s mind, the series sidestepped the elephant in the room: Will Smith’s Oscars slap.

The episode began with a silent black screen and an introductory message, signed from Pinkett Smith, who thanked viewers for joining.

There’s a glimpse of his flashy, rainbow-colored wardrobe, lavish wall art, and a general interior decor that’s far more palatial than you might expect from the Jimmy we’ve seen over the first five seasons of the AMC series.

Ilana Glazer is in talks to star in and executive produce a comedy series currently in the works at Amazon, Variety has learned exclusively.

The series is titled “The Suck” and hails from writer and executive producer Ally Israelson. The show asks the question “What if the last year on earth was the best year of your life?” It follows Lydia (Glazer) to London, in search of an other-worldly end. it is further described as the upside of apocalypse, because when the things that have always mattered cease to matter, how fun would that be?

The next installment of NatGeo’s Genius franchise will follow two subjects: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, and thus be titled Genius: MLK/X.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X will take center stage in Genius: MLK/X, which will see Reggie Rock Bythewood and Gina Prince-Bythewood serve as executive producers under their Undisputed Cinema production banner.
