PM KISAN BENEFICIARY STATUS

All land-holding farmer families will receive Rs 6,000 per year in three equal instalments under the scheme. To receive benefits, eligible farmers must link their Aadhaar card to their PM Kisan account.

The government of India will soon pay the 12th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. All beneficiaries must ensure that their KYC is up to date in order to receive the money.

As per the BJP, through different government schemes like PM Awas, PM Kisan, Ujjwala, Mudra loans, Ayushman Bharat, state pension schemes, every family got around '3 lakh over the last five years.

With the released latest tranche, the total amount provided under the scheme has touched about Rs 1.8 lakh crore. PM-KISAN scheme was announced in February 2019 Budget. The first instalment was for the period December 2018 to March 2019.

During the programme, Prime Minister will also release an equity grant of more than Rs 14 crore to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 1.24 lakh farmers. The Prime Minister will interact with FPOs during the event and will also address the nation. Union Agriculture Minister will also be present on the occasion.

According to the data presented by Agriculture Minister, in the ongoing 2021-22 fiscal year, the central government has transferred Rs 79.70 crore to beneficiary farmers till November 30.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) -- under which eligible marginal farmers have electronically given Rs 6,000 annually in three equal instalments -- saw a 14.22 lakh pending failed transaction during 2019-20 fiscal, when the scheme was launched in February 2019.

About Rs 374.78 crore amount is pending for reprocessing after failed transactions occurred under the central scheme PM-KISAN since its launch in 2019, according to the agriculture ministry data placed before Parliament.

"This will help the State achieve its objective of financial inclusion, and also in transferring the financial benefits of the State as well as the Central Government directly into the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries in unbanked areas," the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma informed.

Adhikari took to twitter and claimed that the PM Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched in 2018 but “the farmers of Bengal had been deprived of the central benefit due to CM’s objection regarding direct transfer to the beneficiaries”.

An annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000 is provided to eligible beneficiary farmer families, payable in three equal four-monthly installments of Rs 2,000 each, under the PM-KISAN scheme.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the amount, which is the next instalment of PM KISAN via video conferencing.

The minimum income support scheme, under which farmers get Rs 6,000 annually in three equal instalments, has excluded income tax payees, retired and serving government employees other than in Group D, professionals such as doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants, public representatives like serving and former parliamentarians, and other people from higher economic status.
