Laura Mae Martin started at Google almost 10 years ago in the Ann Arbor office. Shortly after joining, she started a 20% project and developed an internal training on how to manage your inbox effectively. Her continued passion for productivity has developed into a full time role working 1:1 with executives at Google and running the Productivity@Google program for all employees.

Prior to Google, Smita led the product management team for delivery of television over IP networks at Microsoft. Smita received her bachelor's degree in engineering from IIT Kanpur, masters from Princeton and has a PhD in information science with focus on video and image compression from the University of California.

Prior to Google, Hamidou worked at Oracle as Senior Vice President; Chief Architect of the North America Technology Division responsible for the Oracle Cloud Platform Solution Engineering and Cloud Customer Success organization. He pioneered the Enterprise Architecture discipline and practice at Oracle and brings strategic leadership and technical expertise to enable customers to transform their IT environments leveraging Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, Social, Mobile and the Internet of Things. Prior to founding the Enterprise Architecture discipline and practice, Hamidou held a number of other leadership positions at Oracle, focused primarily on leading large, complex, global technology project implementations. He is a globally recognized Cloud Architecture and Technology leader who speaks in a range of conferences including: Gartner and Forrester Conferences.

Hamidou is originally from Senegal in West Africa and attended college in Paris, France, where he met his wife. They immigrated to the United States in 2000 with their five children. Hamidou is based out of Boulder, Colorado.

 

Debanjan is a Fellow of the IEEE and a Distinguished Scientist of the ACM. He has co-authored a book, 50 patent applications, and numerous technical articles including award winning papers and Internet standards. He received MS and PhD degrees from the University of Maryland, and a B.Tech from IIT, all in Computer Science. In 2019, Business Insider named him as one of the top 10 technology executives transforming business.

Engineering Director, Office of the CTO, Google Cloud

Antonio led the growth of Google Cloud’s engineering team in Warsaw by more than doubling the team during his leadership, and was an integral part of establishing Warsaw as a key technology development site for Google’s Cloud business. Antonio and his team helped deliver Cloud Function (GCF), an event-driven serverless platform, and he has led work on multiple layers of the Google Cloud infrastructure including virtual machines, Kubernetes, serverless and console. Antonio has been granted 10 patents to date and has published several books on Deep Learning and Tensorflow, which have been translated to Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese. Currently, Antonio is with the Google Cloud CTO Office in London helping companies in EMEA with their digital journey to the Cloud.

Bryson Koehler is leading the technology transformation of Equifax, a global data, analytics and technology company. As a vision-driven, no-nonsense leader, he inspires his global technology teams to build products and services that create data insights – empowering customers and partners to make more informed decisions. Koehler is recognized for creating positive change within an organization through innovative technology and relentless relationship building.

Previously, Koehler drove efforts to bring IBM Watson together with a full suite of cloud native capabilities as a common platform aimed at providing world-class, developer-friendly cognitive tools. These efforts culminated in the relaunch of IBM Watson and Cloud Platform. Additionally, he was chief technology and information officer at The Weather Channel Companies (TWCC) before it was acquired in 2015 by IBM.

Koehler is an active member of his community. He helps shape Georgia’s technology community by serving on the boards of directors for the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and the Atlanta Chief Information Officer (CIO) Advisory Board. Koehler also sits on the board of directors for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, which is now one of the largest affordable, single-family housing developers in Atlanta, and the board of Technology and Data Committee of Realogy, a leading provider of residential real estate services.

Koehler holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

At Google, Vint Cerf contributes to global policy and business development and continued spread of the Internet. Widely known as one of the "Fathers of the Internet," Cerf is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet. He has served in executive positions at the Internet Society, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, the American Registry for Internet Numbers, MCI, the Corporation for National Research Initiatives and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency and on the faculty of Stanford University. Vint Cerf sat on the U.S. National Science Board and is a Visiting Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Cerf is a Foreign Member of the Royal Society and Swedish Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the IEEE, ACM, American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, British Computer Society, Worshipful Companies of Information Technologists and Stationers and is a member of the National Academies of Engineering and Science. Cerf is a recipient of numerous awards and commendations in connection with his work on the Internet, including the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom, U.S. National Medal of Technology, the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, the Prince of Asturias Award, the Japan Prize, the Charles Stark Draper award, the ACM Turing Award, the Legion d’Honneur and 29 honorary degrees.

VP Customer Experience, Strategic Accounts, Google Cloud

Mahmoud ElAssir leads the customer experience of Google Cloud’s Strategic Accounts and is responsible for their digital transformation and strategic leadership on their journey to the Cloud. ElAssir previously spent more than two decades with Verizon in several technology leadership positions. Most recently, ElAssir served as the SVP and CTO for Verizon IT, responsible for IT global infrastructure, cloud, data analytics, enterprise architecture and digital workplace. He was at the helm during Verizon’s transition to the cloud and partnered closely with AWS, Oracle and Google to modernize infrastructure, accelerating the speed of innovation and transforming Verizon into a data-driver powerhouse.

Valmeek Kudesia is an experienced physician-leader, engineer, and board-certified clinical informatician. He is a servant-leader who transforms healthcare organizations into learning organizations. Valmeek leads interdisciplinary teams to design and equip healthcare organizations with information platforms, data science tools, and change-processes for patient and organization success (particularly in the high-complexity value-based care setting). He describes himself: “I’m a doctor who talks tech, does data, and does systems. I take care of people and build things that take care of people."

Previously, José was the senior vice president of product management for RingCentral. During his tenure at RingCentral, he led the teams that developed RingCentral’s core products into an enterprise class solution which grew from $100MM to over $1B in revenue. Prior to joining RingCentral, José led product management and product marketing at Corrigo, Inc., which was acquired by JLL. He began his career at Boeing as a mechanical engineer.

José holds bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.

Mark brings 17 years of technical and executive leadership along with a passion for architecting and delivering systems that make an impact on the customer’s bottom line. Mark is leading a group of five Principals and Managing Directors as well as over 100 employee in the Experience Design and Engineering group. Mark is also leading KPMG sister firms internationally in the creation or enhancement of their Digital and Mobile capabilities. Finally, Mark is leading the Digital team’s integration into Cloud platforms. Mark specializes in building and operating Experience Design and Engineering capabilities within organizations utilizing emerging and disruptive technologies. Prior to joining KPMG, Mark served as the Vice President of Digital Experiences at Cynergy for over 5 years. Cynergy was widely recognized by Industry Analysts Forrester and Gartner as a leader in the Digital and Mobile Agency space until its acquisition by KPMG in 2014. Mark grew the capabilities, size and scope of the Digital and Mobile solutions that Cynergy delivered to clients.

Antony has been in IT for over 20 years and spent the last 12 working on enterprise products and partnerships at companies like Yahoo, Salesforce.com, AWS, and now Google Cloud. Today Antony heads up product and strategy for Google Cloud's conversational AI solutions with a strong focus on Contact Center AI. Antony is originally from France and came to California to study for an MBA at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business from which he graduated in 2009, and stayed ever since with his wife and 2 children.

Andi Gutmans is responsible for Databases in Google Cloud. His focus is on building, managing, and scaling the most innovative database services to deliver the industry’s leading data platform for businesses.

Prior to joining Google, Andi ran the AWS analytics portfolio, and before that he served as CEO and co-founder of Zend Technologies—the commercial backer of open-source PHP.Andi has over 20 years of experience as an open source contributor and leader. He co-authored open source PHP, which runs over 80% of the world wide web. He is an emeritus member of the Apache Software Foundation and served on the Eclipse Foundation’s board of directors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Urs oversees the design and operation of the servers, networks and data centers that power Google's services, as well as the development of Google’s cloud platform. He joined Google as its first vice president of engineering after having been an associate professor of computer science at the University of California, Santa Barbara. In his previous life, he contributed to the efficient implementation of virtual machines for programming languages such as Java. With a good search engine you can find out much more about him.

VP, Cloud Developer Relations

Amr Awadallah oversees Cloud Developer Relations, including the overall Cloud Information Experience, Advocacy and Developer Program Engineering. Prior to joining Google in Nov 2019, Amr co-founded Cloudera in 2008 and as CTO, he spent the last 11 years working closely with enterprise customers and developers around the world. He also served as vice president of product intelligence engineering at Yahoo! and ran one of the very first organizations to use Hadoop for big data analysis and business intelligence. Amr received his PhD in EE from Stanford University (thesis was on leveraging virtual machines to implement internet scale applications), and his Bachelor and Master Degrees from Cairo University, Egypt.

Joe Miles joined Google Cloud in August 2020, and is responsible for the industry solution strategy for Google Cloud in the healthcare and life sciences industries consisting of payer, provider, manufacturer and wholesaler industry segments.

Joe is a proven technology leader known for driving business strategy while building strong and sustainable relationships with customers and partners. Prior to Google Cloud, Joe spent more than 17 years at SAP, and most recently served as the general manager of global health sciences.

Joe will work closely with the Google Cloud AI, Industry Solutions, Industry Marketing and Industry Sales teams to scope and build solutions for Google Cloud’s healthcare and life sciences customers. Joe lives in the Chicago area with his wife and two sons.

Vinod started his career at Microsoft in the early days of IIS and Windows NT. From there, he worked at and co-founded several startups in Enterprise and the early mobile industry. His most recent startup was acquired by Dropbox, where Vinod led Product for Machine Intelligence covering Search and Content Understanding.

Sunil focuses on bringing the best of our Google Security practices to the GCP platform and our enterprise customers.

Prior to Google Cloud, Sunil served as the Chief Product & Development Officer at Nutanix which evolved to a global enterprise cloud brand during his tenure. Before Nutanix, Sunil was VP/GM at Citrix leading the NetScaler business for over five years of record growth. He has a B.E. in Computer Science from Osmania University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Anton Chuvakin focuses on security solution strategy at Google Cloud, where he arrived via Chronicle Security (an Alphabet company) acquisition in July 2019. Anton was, until recently, a Research Vice President and Distinguished Analyst at Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) Security and Risk Management Strategies team. Anton is a recognized security expert in the field of log management, SIEM, and PCI DSS compliance.

James is a Technical Director within the Office of the CTO at Google Cloud. James specializes in data engineering and machine learning technical disciplines. Prior to joining Google, James worked in capital markets at Citi in various front-office currency trading and technology leadership roles, most recently as Head of Data Science. Before Citi, James was a Fintech co-founder and started the first regulated (UKGC) business on a public cloud. James previously worked as an engineer across different industries and holds a DPhil in the Computational Neuroscience of Vision from the University of Oxford.

Craig's mission is to make machine learning easier for all practitioners, whether they are junior analysts or expert deep learning scientists. Craig is particularly interested in driving AI deployments and ensuring that it is as easy to deploy a model as it is to build one. Craig has also spent time managing products for Google BigQuery. Prior to Google, Craig spent 9 years at Amazon. Most recently, he was the General Manager of Amazon SageMaker, AWS' machine learning platform. Craig has a deep belief in democratizing the power of data. He pushes to improve usability to increase the breadth of users. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and eating delicious meals.

Anthony Goldbloom is CEO of Kaggle (now a Google company), the world's largest data science and machine learning community with over 6 million members. Forbes has twice named Anthony one of the 30 under 30 in technology; the MIT Technology Review has named him as one of the 35 Innovators Under 35; and the University of Melbourne has given Anthony an Alumni of Distinction Award.

Olly Downs is a machine learning scientist, seasoned technology leader and serial technology entrepreneur, credited with bringing advanced analytics and machine learning methods to bear as the creative spark behind numerous early-stage technology companies, generating more than 40 US Patents. Teams Olly has led have built business-enabling technologies that have returned almost $2 billion in business value on $250 million in venture capital investment.

Prior to joining the Office of the CTO, Matthew was responsible for Security and Compliance products on Google Cloud Platform. He established the key foundations for Cloud Compliance Program and many of the early Cloud Platform security products. Matthew also built products for Google Enterprise, having joined Google via the acquisition of Postini in 2007.

Before Google, Matthew held product management and engineering roles building scaled services at Postini, Tellme Networks, AOL, Netscape, Inflow, and Hewlett-Packard. His career started as a US Air Force officer on the MILSTAR satellite program. Matthew has an executive MBA from the University of California and earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Ben is an expert on cloud technology and its ability to kick-start and enable broader business transformation. Much of Ben’s career has been spent leading transformational initiatives in both large enterprises and startups. He was involved in the creation and development of the first generation of Public Cloud services, launching a joint venture to meet the global needs of the airline industry.

Prior to joining Google, Ben was the VP of Operations for Evernote. He was responsible for Evernote’s strategic move from physical data centers to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), migrating Evernote’s platform and its 200 million global users in 70 days.

Before that, he led Service Delivery at Armor Defense, a secure cloud provider specialising in PCI and HIPAA workloads, during a period of rapid growth and expansion. He oversaw the delivery of all services to customers including support, security, and back-end Infrastructure, leading the function through 8x growth in three years.

Ben’s early career was spent in the Telecommunication space, leading IT services and outsourcing engagements.

Ben is originally from London and has been living in San Francisco for the past six years. Outside of work, Ben loves to travel with his wife Vanessa.

Managing Director & Digital Transformation Officer, Travel and Transportation Google Cloud

Ravi works with strategic customers to create and execute on their travel and transportation transformation visions, and helps them achieve their goals and business outcomes. He has worked in the technology industry for 30 years, including 15 years in commercial aviation. In his role at Google Cloud, Ravi helps guide customer strategies by utilizing his industry experience to identify challenges and opportunities as part of their digital transformations. Ravi also partners with other Google product areas to deliver differentiated and new experiences/products to help our customers win in the marketplace.

Prior to Google Cloud, Ravi served as chief technology officer for United Airlines, where he focused on modernizing customer and employee experience technologies, transforming core systems, and ensuring strong enterprise architecture across all platforms. Before that, he served as chief technology officer for Aer Lingus, VP of information technology at Tesla Motors, and VP and CIO for Virgin America. Ravi has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Richmond College (U.K.).

Phil leads the Serverless Engineering teams for GCP. Throughout his 7-year tenure at Google, he's led a number of technical teams, and previously ran the Site Reliability Engineering team for GCP and Google's internal Technical Infrastructure. A UK native, Phil holds a BA in Mathematics from Oxford University, and before joining Google, he spent 17 years as Chief Architect at Fidessa, where he designed and built databases and middleware technology for high-performance trading systems. He's passionate for the Serverless and Cloud, has a strong customer focus, deep expertise in building highly reliable distributed infrastructure at scale, and broad experience across GCP.

Aparna Sinha is Director of Product at Google Cloud and the product leader for Application Development Platforms. She is passionate about transforming businesses through faster, safer software delivery. Aparna helped grow Kubernetes into a widely adopted platform across industries at Google. Her focus includes integrated industry solutions for Developer Productivity and Security. Prior to Google, Aparna was Director of Product at NetApp for Storage Automation, and prior to that was a leader in McKinsey and Company’s business transformation office working with CXOs on IT strategy, pricing, and M&A. Aparna holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford and has authored several technical publications. She is Chair of the Governing Board of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and two kids.

Herman Widjaja is the Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Tokopedia, overseeing the overall Tokopedia’s technology and data office. Besides his role at Tokopedia, Herman is also the CEO of Semangat Digital Bangsa (SDB), a financial technology company that provides alternative credit scoring from e-commerce data sources.

Passionate about growing and globalizing the Indonesian technology community, Herman is also contributing to Tokopedia Academy, a learning ground for the future digital talents in Indonesia by Tokopedia.

Prior to Tokopedia, Herman led technology teams at Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Microsoft. He currently holds eight US/international-issued patents, has four patents pending approval, and has written four industry publications.

Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. She currently resides in Dallas, TX, with her husband, Mark, and their three girls. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, tennis, skiing, and the arts.

He has helped companies of all sizes - startups, mid-size, and large public companies - launch and scale new businesses or units.  Before working at Google, Bruno worked at companies like Business Objects when the company first went IPO after acquiring Acta & Crystal Reports and Oracle, where he led one of the fastest turnarounds in the business analytics space. Bruno has helped companies like Alpine Data Labs and Sisense launch and worked at Microsoft when Data & Analytics grew into a $1B business.

 

Bruno has been educated in the US, France, the UK, and Germany. Additionally, he has written two books on Data Analytics and Enterprise Performance Management.

Vice President of Consumer Packaged Goods, Google Cloud

Giusy Buonfantino is responsible for creating and executing Google Cloud’s global product, partner, and go-to-market strategy in the CPG industry to unlock the power of the Cloud, ML/AI to improve brand and consumer experiences.

In her role Giusy brings together consumer, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics solutions to drive value to CPG businesses from the consumer through the value chain.

Before joining Google, Giusy served in a number of leadership roles in the CPG industry. At Kimberly Clark, she led the company’s digital transformation, as the Chief Marketing Officer and prior to that she was the President of the North America Baby Products division. Prior to that she led a range of global marketing and general management roles at Johnson and Johnson in Europe and the United States. Since 2016, Giusy has served as a Director on the Board of Carter’s Corporation.

Giusy is a native of Italy and lives in New York City.

Prior to joining Google Cloud, Amol was the global managing director for Accenture’s Global Network Practice, where he led and managed global high-end consulting teams that provided strategy, consulting, execution, and transformation services to CXO clients. Before Accenture, Amol served in leadership positions at Alcatel-Lucent and British Telecom. He brings vast international industry experience and has worked in the U.S., India, Singapore, and the UK.

Amol currently serves on the governing board of Linux Foundation Networking to promote open source solutions for software driven networks, and has also recently authored and published a book that offers a unique perspective on the impact of 5G on the future home.

Amol has a master’s degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Southern California and a double degree executive MBA from UCLA-NUS, Singapore. He was also awarded the C H Wee Gold Medal for outstanding academic achievement in the executive MBA program.

George Nazi is a recognized technology leader, known for blending strategic vision and operational execution to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction. He offers a unique blend of executive acumen, global team-building and more than 30 years industry experience, transforming large organizations and operations. Currently, he is the Global VP at Google Cloud leading their Telco, Media & Entertainment, and Gaming industry solutions.

Before Google, George served as the Senior Managing Director at Accenture leading their Communications & Media Industry. Prior to that, George was the Executive Vice President of Alcatel-Lucent and President of Global Customer Delivery (GCD) managing a workforce of more than 40,000 professionals. The GCD unit served all customers (Carrier, Enterprise and Strategic Industries) and delivered Alcatel-Lucent's entire portfolio (products and services) as well as those of other original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s). George was a member of the Alcatel-Lucent Management Committee and served as the Chief Quality Officer.

Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, George Nazi was with BT serving as the President of Networks and IT Infrastructure globally. One of George’s biggest achievements was running the entire 21st Century Network transformation program (21CN) with a budget in excess of $15billion from remaking the portfolio, enhancing the customer experience, and building the next generation Network and OSS/BSS. Earlier at BT, he was the Global Services CTO and Global VP of Networks responsible for the design and deployment of BT’s Global IP/MPLS network across 170 countries.

Prior to joining BT, George Nazi held executive positions with WorldCom and Level 3 where he led the integration of many of their acquisitions, and held a variety of senior engineering and planning roles. George also founded a Consulting firm and a CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) in the US in 1998, which targeted small- to medium-size businesses to support them in optimizing their networks and reducing their costs.

George Nazi received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Tulsa University in 1992. George is married to Dr. Becca Nazi. They have been living in Brussels, Belgium since 2004. They are blessed with three children. George is on the Chairman of the board of trustees of the International School of Brussels.

Technical Director, Office of the CTO

Adrian is a technologist and visionary with over 25 years of leadership experience. At Google he focuses on thought leadership, market shaping, and deep personalized engagement with the leadership of the world’s top companies to support specialized technology requirements and strategic initiatives.

Prior to Google, Adrian served as a Distinguished Architect at Rackspace where he worked to collaboratively design and implement OpenStack, which has grown into the world’s leading open source cloud platform since its formation in 2010 as a joint effort with NASA. Adrian focused on emerging technologies including integration between cloud technology and application containers using Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, and DC/OS in both public and private clouds. He has also enjoyed a successful career as a tech entrepreneur and led a variety of teams from a wide range of different companies, geographies, and cultures.

When he is not working, Adrian loves to travel with his family, usually somewhere with a beach or a ski hill.

Head of Product Marketing, User Protection Services @ Google Cloud

Kelly Anderson currently leads product marketing for Google Cloud’s user protection services. Prior to the online fraud protection business, she was marketing Google Cloud’s security management and threat detection products. Before Google, she worked in product marketing for Microsoft in Azure. She marketed a variety of security products, ranging from key management and security management to threat detection and confidential computing to business continuity products.

VP Infrastructure, Google Fellow

Eric joined Google in 2011 and leads the company’s compute infrastructure design, including Kubernetes, Serverless, and Anthos.

As a researcher at UC Berkeley, he led projects on scalable servers, network infrastructure, and the CAP Theorem. He has also led work on technology for developing regions, with projects in India, the Philippines, and Kenya among others, and including communications, power, and healthcare.

In 1996, he co-founded Inktomi Corporation and helped lead it onto the NASDAQ 100. In 2000, working with President Clinton, Brewer helped to create USA.gov, the official portal of the Federal government.

Major awards include membership in the NAE and AAAS, and the ACM Prize in Computing.

Francois Chollet is a software engineer at Google, where he leads the Keras team. He's the author of a popular textbook on deep learning. He also does research on abstraction, reasoning, and how to achieve greater generality in artificial intelligence.

Director, Security Solutions, Google Cloud

Alison Andrews Reyes is a director at Google Cloud focused on building solutions to enable cloud security transformations. She is a technology founder, operator, and investor, who has helped scale 5 technology startups over 20+ years (2 as CEO), principally in enterprise software and security. Having led multiple companies from founding to exit, she brings technical, financial, and operating expertise across several sectors including cybersecurity, business analytics, and web development.

Prior to Google Cloud, Alison was a general partner at 1843 Capital, leading investments in cybersecurity. Previously, Alison was a CEO and founder twice over at internet and security startups, Dezignable and Vigilant respectively. Alison ran Vigilant, Inc. from 2005 until their acquisition by Deloitte in May 2013. She has also served in senior executive roles at e-Security, eGrail, Inc., and MicroStrategy, Inc. Ms. Reyes holds an AB from Dartmouth College in Engineering Sciences.

Consulting and Engineering Manager

Alex McWilliam is software architect by craft, an ad man through education, a former programmer who didn't know better, a passionate strategist at heart and a nerd by nature. Hailing from various startups as VP Engineering before joining Google, he now leads a team of engineers and consultants within Google Cloud's Professional Services organization to help Germany's best known brands accelerate their digital transformation through the adoption of cloud technologies and operating models. Alex is also the lead author of the Google Cloud Adoption Framework.

Sustainability Lead, Google Cloud

Chris leads efforts to help customers improve the environmental impact of their IT operations and identify new opportunities to tackle climate change challenges with cloud technology. He also works on opening new Google Cloud data centers throughout the globe. Senior Director, Product Management Google for Education

Shantanu Sinha is a Senior Director of Product Management at Google, currently leading product development for the company’s education efforts. Under Shantanu’s leadership, the team oversees products helping millions of learners around the world -- as of 2021, there are 170M+ users on Google Workspace for Education and 150M+ users on Google Classroom. The team has also demonstrated how AI can improve learning outcomes with products such as Read Along.

Prior to joining Google, Shantanu was the founding President and Chief Operating Officer of Khan Academy. Shantanu teamed up with Sal Khan (his high school math competitor and college roommate) to help build Khan Academy into a non-profit organization that pioneered free, globally accessible, personalized learning.

Shantanu was also an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where he advised Fortune 500 leaders on strategy and operations. Shantanu received four degrees from MIT, including three bachelor’s degrees (Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Mathematics, and Brain & Cognitive Sciences) and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.

Managing Director, Supply Chain & Logistics Industry Solutions

Hans Thalbauer joined Google Cloud in August 2020 and is responsible for the vision, mission, and strategy for global supply chain and logistics business solutions across all industries.

Hans is a recognized supply chain industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in solution management and sales functions. He was the senior vice president for digital supply chain management solutions at SAP. Hans was also the global leader at SAP for Industry 4.0 and supply chain sustainability initiatives.

Hans is working closely with Google Cloud’s supply chain and logistics customers globally to help them solve their most pressing business problems through the power of cloud. Hans is based in California.

As the leader of Google Cloud’s human resources function, Brigette is focused on attracting and developing amazing talent and shaping Cloud’s culture of customer empathy & belonging to drive business growth and transformation.

Prior to joining Google in 2019, Brigette served as the Chief Operating Officer of SAP SuccessFactors where she defined and implemented business strategies to achieve sustainable growth and satisfaction among customers undergoing digital transformation of their total workforce experience. In addition to her role as COO, Brigette also led SAP SuccessFactors Digital HR Strategy and Transformation teams.

Brigette’s passion includes leading large scale global teams and building cultures that promote women and early-stage talent in leadership, diversity and inclusion, pay equality and digital transformation.

Customer Culture and Change Specialist, Google Cloud

Finn is a culture and transformation specialist, focused on helping customers make the most of the Cloud. He is particularly interested in the psychology of behaviour change, leadership, and team effectiveness. Prior to joining Google, Finn was a management consultant where he helped resources and utilities clients prepare their leadership for digital transformation.

Digital work products shape our experience of work. Prasad’s focus is on making the experience of digital work productive, sustainable, healthy and inclusive for our billions of users.

Prasad began his Google journey in 2007 in People Operations and led several global functions including people analytics, benefits, compensation and performance management. As a pioneer of data-driven people decisions, and innovative rewards, recognition and well-being programs, he helped Google’s workforce grow ten-fold over his tenure in human resources.

Prior to joining Google, Prasad was vice president of workforce analytics at Capital One. Earlier, he was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.

He holds an MBA from the Wharton School where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. He also has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from IIT, Chennai, India.

Prasad is on the advisory board for executive education at Wharton. As an adjunct faculty member at Stanford’s graduate school of business, he co-teaches a course on trends that shape the world of work.

Dominik Wee is the Managing Director Global Manufacturing, Industrial and Transportation at Google Cloud. In this role, Dominik is responsible for Google Cloud's global business with companies in this sector, including industrial goods, automotive OEMs and suppliers, electronics, energy, aerospace and defence, and transport and logistics service providers. This encompasses Google Cloud’s portfolio of industry solutions for the sector, trusted relationships with our strategic customers, the ecosystem of partners, as well as thought leadership on key technology and business trends for the industry. Prior to joining Google, Dominik was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company in Munich and Palo Alto, where he built the Firm’s global Digital practice for Automotive and Industrial companies. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. Dominik currently lives in Munich.

Mr. Shatzkamer holds a Master's of Engineering Management degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University, and a Bachelor's of Engineering degree from University of Florida.

Mr Shatzkamer has more than 50 patents for his work in mobile networking, and has published two books related to his work.

Dominik Wee is the Managing Director, Global Automotive, Manufacturing and Energy at Google Cloud. He is responsible for Google Cloud's global business with companies in this sector, including industrial goods, automotive OEMs and suppliers, electronics, appliances, energy, construction, agriculture, aerospace and defense.

In this role, Dominik leads Google Cloud’s investments in industry solutions for the sector, as well as leading the expansion of Google Cloud’s footprint through engagements with customers and partners in the industry.

Prior to joining Google, Dominik was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company in Munich and Palo Alto, where he built McKinsey’s global Digital practice for Automotive and Industrial companies. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. Dominik currently lives in Munich.

Prior to Dark Forest, Mr. DeAddio was President and COO of WorldQuant and was responsible for global day-to-day operations, execution of strategic business initiatives and capital development initiatives. Prior to joining WorldQuant in 2014, Mr. DeAddio was Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Investor Relations at Elm Ridge Capital, and before that served as Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse Alternative Asset Management.

Prior to these roles he was Chief Technology Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Silver Point Capital. He entered the alternative asset management industry in 2002 as a Managing Director in IT at Citadel LLC. Mr. DeAddio began his career at Bell Communication Research in 1992 and made the transition to financial technology in 1994 as a software developer at JP Morgan on the Fixed Income Derivatives desk.

Mr. DeAddio holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. DeAddio serves on the board of directors of BronxWorks, he also serves on the advisory boards of Backstop Solutions, LeverData Inc and Wellesley Asset Management, and recently served on the initial advisory board for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Institute for Data, Systems and Society (IDSS). Mr. DeAddio holds a U.S. patent entitled “Object Oriented System For Managing Complex Financial Instruments.

Google Strategic Partnership Manager, Automotive

Phil is an Auto Tech strategist with proven results in helping OEMs build for the future of Automotive. He has worked over the last decade partnering with Auto manufacturers and dealers around the world to connect with their users more effectively across Marketing, Manufacturing / Hardware, Data Analytics, and Customer Experience using Google platforms. Prior to Google, Phil worked as a Data Scientist and Tech Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, aiding Insurance, Financial Services & Telco clients to better organize their data to make it more actionable. He also worked as an economist for the Federal Government at the Bureau of Labor Statistics where he was instrumental in moving the government to online surveys for tracking critical economic indicators.

Phil holds a BS in Economics & International Studies from Northwestern University and an MS in Analytics from the Institute for Advanced Analytics & North Carolina State University.

At Google Cloud, Shweta is the strategy and market leader responsible for BioPharma in Healthcare and Life Sciences. Shweta has quickly risen through the ranks as a well-known innovator, game-changer, and relationship ambassador. With 20+ years’ experience in clinical research, Healthcare and BioTech, she has proven time and time again how valuable relationships can be by enabling dozens of start-up firms with access to capital from Federal grants and VC firms alike. She brings an eye for detail, winning contract negotiations, and financial insight to support her commercial partnership strategy expertise. A position was created just for her, after excelling in a Commercial Partnering and Strategy role at Genentech. She has been the recipient of multiple awards at Genentech, including two “Innovation Awards,” “MVP Award,” and more. Shweta currently serves on the board of directors for Seaspine (NASDAQ: SPNE), a global spinal technology company.

Shweta brings an impressive network of established healthcare system relationships across Digital Health & Technology, Investor, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Hospital Systems Industries. She is passionate about keeping current with trends in medical devices, data, wearables, IoT, EHR, and machine learning. Since joining Google, Shweta leads the Life Sciences Solutions strategy as well as develops and manages a variety of customer and partnership relationships while identifying new opportunities.

Arun is a Product Manager at Google Cloud focusing on Kubernetes-based application platform for hybrid and multicloud environments. Maria McClay is a director at Google Cloud, working with Fashion & Beauty companies to help anticipate industry trends and use cutting-edge technology to get ahead of customer expectations. Maria’s passion lies in the intersection between fashion and technology, with a strong passion for fashion sustainability. Working closely with conservation organizations and brands including Stella McCartney, she recently led efforts to create a Cloud powered tool that would help provide brands with data to make more responsible sourcing decisions. Prior to joining Google, she spent nearly a decade at Gucci holding various senior operational and strategic roles, including General Manager of Northern Europe and Associate Vice President of Retail for Europe. She began her career at McKinsey across New York, San Francisco and Mexico City, and covered the Luxury Goods and Retail sectors in the European Consumer/Retail Investment Banking team at Lehman Brothers.

Julien is leading the GTM Google Cloud's Business Application Platform team in EMEA and is helping customers with their digital transformation journey. Previously, Julien ran the Google Cloud Apigee team in EMEA South developing partnerships around APIs with Fortune 500 companies. He holds a Master of Computer Science from Oxford Brookes University & a MS from Supinfo Paris.

Phil leads the risk, security, compliance, and privacy teams for Google Cloud. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Phil was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he held multiple roles over a long career, initially as their first Chief Information Security Officer, a role he held for 17 years. Before Goldman Sachs, Phil held multiple CISO roles as well as senior engineering roles across a range of finance, energy and technology companies.

Phil earned a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of York and an MSc in Computation and Cryptography from the Queen’s College at Oxford University.

Dr. Alicia Abella is the Managing Director of the Telecom, Media & Entertainment Industry Solutions organization, for Google Cloud leading the North America and Latin America regions. She has responsibility for building the go-to-market approach for Telecom, Media & Entertainment, partnering with the Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for customers.

Prior to joining Google Cloud, Dr. Abella was VP of the Integrated Systems Engineering and Realization organization of AT&T Labs driving the company’s network infrastructure deployments, SDN, Edge, and 5G programs. In her 25 year tenure with AT&T she also led multiple highly technical organizations specializing in cloud computing, software-defined networking, human-computer interaction, mobile services, big data analytics, and Internet of Things.

Dr. Abella is on the Consumer Technology Association’s Board of Industry Leaders and Chair of CTA’s Technical Advisory Council. She holds 29 patents. In addition to her technical contributions she has been a strong advocate in fostering the development of minorities and women in science and engineering. Dr. Abella received a BS from NYU and an MS and PhD from Columbia University all in computer science.

Lori Mitchell-Keller is Google Cloud’s Global Head of Industry Solutions. She leads the vision, mission and go-to-market strategy and execution for Google Cloud solutions in retail, consumer packaged goods, healthcare and life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, telco, media, entertainment, and gaming. With more than 25 years of experience, she has a successful track record of helping businesses improve through digital transformation, execute continuous improvement strategies, and remain agile in competitive environments. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Lori served as co-president of SAP where she led the sales and partner go-to-market across 20 industries, and held a number of other senior leadership roles at SAP, JDA Software, Manugistics, and Allegiance Healthcare.

Lori holds an MBA from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, a master’s degree in operations research from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University.

Karina is the Director of Diversity for Google’s EMEA region, enabling an environment of belonging for over 18,000 Googlers in 36 countries.

Prior to joining Google, Karina was the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Vodafone.

Previously Karina spent 10 years at Gallup as a consultant advising organisations and senior executives on employee engagement. Karina’s career started with 7 years on the Graduate Scheme at Kingfisher.

Karina has a BA Hons in Social and Political Science from Cambridge University and a postgraduate Business Diploma from Oxford University.

In 2017, Karina was awarded the Power of Women award for Diversity & Inclusion and in 2014, Karina was the winner of the Asian Woman of Achievement Award for Business.

Sean works with telecommunications and media companies to develop a deeper understanding of the value of digital transformation and innovation with Google Cloud, across strategic, tactical, and financial dimensions.

Prior to joining Google Cloud, he led business development and strategy for Oath’s Ad Platforms business unit, spearheading efforts to monetize mobile subscriber and network, enter the out-of-home ad tech market, and integrate the AOL and Yahoo data and technology partnerships. He came to Oath from Monitor-Deloitte, where he was a senior manager in the strategy firm’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, focused primarily on revenue growth strategies and service innovations. He spent nearly a decade working at mobile technology firms such as Ericsson, where he helped operators innovate and launch new audio, video, data, and communications services, and led Ericsson’s North American ConsumerLab efforts. He started off his career at McKinsey & Company, a leading management consulting firm.

Sean earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
