Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna announced on Monday her retirement from politics after eight years and won't seek re-election. McKenna said she felt she accomplished what she had gotten into politics to do, including becoming the country's first environment and climate change minister. She cited spending time with her children as a main reason for her departure.
