    What is the 1098-E Form? It is the Student Loan Interest Statement that your federal loan servicer will use to report student loan interest payments to both the Internal Revenue Service and to you. What do I do with my 1098-E Form? When completing your 2021 taxes, you may be eligible to deduct the interest amount listed on your 1098-E Form. Why didn’t I receive a 1098-E Form from my federal student loan servicer? Due to the interest rate on federal student loans being 0% in response to the COVID-19 emergency, you may not have paid $600 or more in interest.
