Online Screening

WORLD PREMIERE Boycotts have long been a tool used by Americans rallying for political change, from civil rights leaders to anti-apartheid activists. But in recent years, over 30 states have introduced anti-boycott legislation designed to penalize individuals undertaking boycotts against Israel. Award-winning filmmaker Julia Bacha (Budrus) looks at the cases of a publisher, attorney, and teacher whose careers are threatened by the harsh measures of these new laws in this bracing look at shifting politics and threats to freedom of speech.  – Thom Powers

An NPR correspondent, a literary author, and a graphic designer let us in on the secret life of the special objects they keep as a way to preserve memories, conjure experiences, and find meaning in their lives.  - Ruth Somalo

In the town of Newtok, years of rising temperatures have eroded the frozen foundation of the area. With their homes and way of life hanging in the balance, the town's residents weigh the prospect of relocating the community or abandoning their traditional lands forever.  - Brandon Harrison

Looking at a rarely examined slice of history, the film delves into Selassie’s complex legacy, including how he came to be considered a divine being by Bob Marley and the Rastafarians. This informative, intriguing film follows the members of Ethiopia’s formerly royal family in an emotional, suspenseful search for closure.  - Karen McMullen

In Exposure, women from the Arab world, Europe, and the UK get together to embark on the Women’s Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition.
