The European Commission 05.03.14 published information on a package of EU measures of support of Ukraine for the period up to 2020, amounting to 11 billion euros.

Includes macro-financial assistance (credit resources) in the amount of 610 million euros and 1 billion euros; EU grants - 1.4 billion euros. (including EUR 400 million under existing programs), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EUR 5 billion) and European Investment Bank (EUR 3 billion).

The Agreement on Financing of the Contract for Ukraine for the Development of the State between the Government of Ukraine and the EU was signed on May 13, 14 (Brussels). The agreement provides for the provision of EUR 355 million of non-repayable assistance to resolve short-term economic problems and preparation for reform under the Association Agreement (EUR 250 million came to the general fund of the State Budget in June 2014, EUR 105 million is expected to III quarter of 2015 subject to fulfillment of the general and special conditions of the Agreement).
