SBP-DIC OFFSET PHASED ELIMINATION - 2021 PHASE ONE
Some spouse SBP annuitants will see an increase in the SBP annuity payment they receive in 2021. Some spouse SBP annuitants will not see a change in phase one of the SBP-DIC Offset Phased Elimination. You DO NOT need to call DFAS to tell us you are affected by the change in the law. See our full range of FAQs.
*Note: the change in the law does NOT affect the amount of DIC you receive from the VA. You should continue to receive your normal DIC amount from the VA.
