    Senior: Adlai E. Stevenson High School is an exceptional school! From the first day of my Freshman year there, I have been surrounded by nothing but supportive faculty and staff. My teachers pushed me to go beyond my limits and always strive to do better. Outside of academics, extracurriculars are a great way for students to get involved. I myself joined the archery team there and from my first day, the team members treated me like I was already family. Stevenson does have some flaws of its own, no school is perfect. I wish other sports clubs, like my own, are given more opportunity and space to practice. Unfortunately such clubs on the bottom of the pyramid are prioritized last over the competitive sports, especially now with the construction going on in the practice space. Space is limited. But other than that I am proud to say with full confidence I would not trade my place at Stevenson for another.

    Junior: The Jericho School District is a high-achieving and competitive school district. Students always aim to do their best and have shown excellence through their work. The teachers and administration are caring, kind, and strict when needed. They create a safe environment for students to be in and are there for students when needed. Jericho also provides a variety of extracurriculars to help students explore their interests. From sports to clubs, several activities are made available to students.
    However, one of the main problems at Jericho is the lack of diversity in the schools. There is an Asian majority with a few other ethnicities in the student body.

    Senior: As an introvert, I really liked Zoom school. I know it’s a controversial thing to admit, but I really loved going to school on Zoom. I thought my school district handled Zoom school well. We had 4 period days (instead of our usual 8 period days) and Wednesday’s were teachers choice days (our teachers decided if we wanted to meet synchronously or asynchronously— most teachers decided asynchronous!). Everyone had the same lunch period and it was over an hour long, which was just amazing because it gave us some time to relax, stretch, and energize to finish the rest of the school day of strong! As much as I loved e-learning, I’m actually very excited to go back to school in person this year (senior year!) and get to see my friends and teachers! Even though we weren’t in school for over a year, our school still managed to finish the 20-21 school year strong! I’m proud to be part of VHHS. Go Cougars!!

    Sophomore: Overall amazing school! The Northfield campus is built beautifully structured. Each building serves a different purpose and even if you don't know the school well you'll still be able to find your place very easily unlike the Winnetka campus. The academics are great, teachers are really nice although there are some misunderstandings once in a while. The Admin are usually reliable but not when it comes to social issues or racial bullying.

    Freshman: The school district of 225 is actually a very, very good district and constantly ranks among the best in the nation. Even though my peers may not know it, we have it pretty nice for high school. Very generous food programs, an extraordinary selection of electives, are all part of the experience here. Not only do we have a very large selection for electives, the district takes them all seriously too. For theater - we have a grand hand will dual rows of seating and a enormous stage. For the aquatic sports - there are 2 pools in a large indoor facility and plenty of space to host competitions all year round. We have a beautiful entrance hall which will awe any visitor - and this is in only ONE of the 2 schools! In the other school, there is just as many amazing facilities and things to do.

    Senior: I have had a great experience with the Great Neck Public Schools over the 13 years I have been attending schools in the district. For kindergarten, I went to Parkville, for elementary school I went to E.M. Baker, for middle school I went to Great Neck North Middle School, and for high school I have been in Great Neck North High School. Let me just say that everything is amazing in these schools. I loved all of my teachers over the years, as they have really prepared me for my next step in life. I love the clubs and activities offered at the schools, as there are so many of them that the schools offer. Lastly, I love the schools’ environments, as they all have such a positive and supporting environment and help each student get through every day. As a result of these aspects of the district, I would highly recommend any Great Neck Public School for any family that is look for a new place to send their kids to school!

    Middle School Student: In education, this school is one of the best in the country. However, in order to pursue this rating accurately, I have the obligation to go in-depth to what the environment is like as well.
    I would say about one-third of my class specifically has been here since kindergarten. This wouldn't necessarily be a predicament to be dealt with, except nearly everyone in this academy possesses a variety of privileges surrounding them and no one really seems to process that. Practically all the students live in multimillion-dollar homes and are soaking in a pool of white privilege.
    Many of these students don't have many friends outside the school district, and therefore, have never been outside of Indian Hill, an abundance of mansions and Europeans. Most of my companions who attend this school don't know how to do their laundry or even take a public bus. How are these students ever going to discover what happens in the real world?

    Alum: Quite simply the Scarsdale Schools have been among the very best for decades. Scarsdale High has had the highest levels of academic achievement in the country. Having worked for three of the top private research universities in the U.S. If a family has high expectations and is ready to be supportive of the schools as well as their students, I can't think of a better school system in America.     Senior: The school has numerous exceptional programs in Physics, Calculus, and Tech Theatre departments, as well as many amazing sports teams (though primarily the football team). A majority of students take some advanced classes, and many take all, however even for students on or below grade level classes, the expectations and rigor is still unparalleled by any public school in the state. The diversity of the school is quite poor, however that's not to say that the school is extremely whitewashed like you might see in a place like Lubbock or Amarillo , In my personal experience, the lack of diversity is usually just in the numbers, despite the small percentage historically low income minorities, the student body is still diverse in that many people come from around the country and world. My friend group consists of people from: Chile, UK, 2 from Russia, Mexico, Venezuela, Canada, 2 from California, Denmark, Florida, and only 3 from Texas. the student body is surprisingly diverse actually.

    Freshman: Radnor has been an amazing experience for me. The teachers are absolutely incredible and are always willing to help students go the extra mile! Through my time at Radnor Elementary, Radnor Middle, and Radnor High School, I can say I’ve always been excited to go to school and learn. The school is academically challenging, and provides resources and activities for everyone. I love Radnor and I am so grateful for such an exceptional education through the school district!

    Senior: My experience with Township High School was absolutely phenomenal. As a student who identifies with being in the LGBTQ+ community, there was never a moment where I felt uncomfortable or out of place. The resources I was provided with to let my education excel were far greater than my peers from other schools. I have had few to no bad experiences, especially with teachers and administrators. Everyone in the building and community is there to help and deeply cares.

    Senior: I love going to school here. I’ve been a student at Syosset Central School District since kindergarten, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Students, although competitive, are generally very kind and genuine. The amounts of extracurriculars to get involved in are never-ending. There’s really something for everyone. The teachers are phenomenal. They all want to see their students succeed. It’s difficult not to take advantage of the myriad opportunities Syosset schools offer. The district gears you to reach your greatest potential. Anyone who has the privilege to study at any Syosset school is truly lucky.

    Senior: While my experience with the School District of Clayton has had its high and low points, I truly believe it has set me up for the best future possible. The teachers and administration are very receptive to the needs of their students and, for the most part, do their best to make sure the students feel as though they are being listened to. The academics are challenging, but I rarely have problems asking my teachers for help. I have had some issues with the college counseling department, but it has not affected my ability to get into a school that is a great fit for me.

    Parent: This public school system offers superior education to all but the most elite private schools such that any kid lucky enough to live in the district has an excellent opportunity to learn, achieve and matriculate at an elite university despite not having all the benefits of upbringing or affluence. Public education is the great equalizer in society and very few district in the USA do it better than Ladue. Compared to where and when I went to public school, the instruction my kids receive is like that which was offered to the richest kids who attended the best private country day school. In terms of value, nothing beats the Ladue School District. In areas where public school systems are plagued with poor performance, this kind of education would cost you 30K or more per year per student at a very competitive private school. If you have multiple kids, that delta can add up to 7 figures and so dollar for dollar, living in the Ladue District is the best value bar none.

    Senior: The Princeton Public School district is definitely one of academic rigor. A student of any level in any class can find themselves being challenged mentally, sometimes too much so. With this academic excellence comes immense pressure on the children to succeed. Students often feel overwhelmed with stress with no support from guidance or administration. In addition, racial literacy is often an after thought and students aren't reprimanded for insensitive and ignorant comments and posts.

Once, my friend forgot to bring their coat to class during the winter and they had a fire drill, so the teacher gave her her coat to wear.

    Senior: Solon Schools has taught me many things. I have learned to respect others for who they are as a person. No matter where the come from, or how they act, they are a living breathing person that deserves just as much as I deserve. Solon has also taught me how to be a great student. They teach me how I can get that B+ to a A by working for it. Not just getting it because I am close to the next grade. I have to work for what I want and not just expect it. There is defiantly the ups and down with each school district and that is Solon's buildings need some upgrades. Smart boards can improve peoples learning and nicer classrooms to make people want to go to class. Overall, Solon is a great school. So great that the list of all the top schools in Ohio are and Solon is ranked the best school in Ohio. We are SC!

    Freshman: I love being a student at Herricks because I’m surrounded by many people who help me to get where I am now. One of my favorite things about my school is our music program. Our music department is one of the best ones in New York. Aside from that, another amazing thing that I value so much is the safety of our school. There very rarely are fights in the school hallways and there are security guards at every door in the school. It makes many people in my school feel safe, especially me. I am so grateful to be able to attend this school because they also offer many advanced classes, including a spanish immersion program. It is a program that teaches K-5 students spanish so that they could take the AP exam in 10th grade. It helps so much with college because after 10th grade you can take other classes other than a language class. There are so many great things about my school district and I’m proud to be a part of Herricks!

    Senior: I am a senior at Los Gatos High School. I love my school. For the most part, teachers care about their students and work hard to help their students. The extracurricular actives and sports teams are amazing. This school has spirit, and there is a sense of pride to being a wildcat. Los Gatos is a very academically competitive school, and produces students who are well prepared for college. However, this school is also very socially competitive. The administration does a lot for their students, but there have been many issues with administration including the #metoo movement. Students often don't feel heard or supported by the administration in these difficult situations.

    Senior: It is a school where they do their best to put their students ahead of the game. They do benefit the smarter kids more than those on a moderate level or below. But they do their best accommodate students who need extra help like free tutoring, study periods, creating work periods for students who need to catch or receive extra help. Although the school keeps moving forward at a constant (fast) paste. My overall experience there was inclusive, diverse, fun, memorable, and led me to be successful!

    Junior: This school gets a lot of attention for the successes of its students and faculty. Rightly so, as sports teams routinely go to State and students are generally high-achieving and talented. It’s definitely not perfect; namely, the fitness center is rather like a dungeon, but there’s on-going construction to improve areas like just that.
    As far as teachers, the physics department isn’t very good, but other than that, you will easily find very qualified and dedicated teachers who care a lot about their students and their learning.

    The students themselves are more diverse than you might originally expect in a white, wealthy district. Most are white and rather basic, but you’ll easily find your group of friends if you simply get involved.
