President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the concept of the Presidential University in Kyiv during the Forum "Ukraine 30. Education and Science". Students will have the opportunity to do internships in Ukraine and abroad, to implement their research projects, and after graduation - official employment. Training in 6 areas will begin in 2023.

"A country that strives to be competitive in today's world must define education and science as its strategic areas. After all, the development of a democratic, successful, active society, the development of any spheres - security and defense, always relevant economy, medicine, industry, IT or agriculture - all this is impossible without well-educated, erudite, creative citizens," stressed the President of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation supports the President's initiative to create a new modern university. The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation will work on the educational direction "Information Technology, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence".

"Digitalization of all spheres - new realities of the world. To build a successful digital state, we must constantly attract new qualified professionals. In particular, in the areas of cybersecurity, data analysis, artificial intelligence, work with state registers and personal data protection. We believe that the Presidential University is a new way to our national success story in digitalization," said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the presentation.

Innovative specialties will be introduced at the university. The educational process will be built in accordance with scientific and technological progress. Among the main educational areas - information technology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence; nanotechnology; aerospace technologies; biotechnology and health sciences; energy technologies; globalization and international communications.
