Celebrities Can't Stop Commenting on 'GMA' Star Michael Strahan’s Instagram of His New Look

The Good Morning America cohost recently closed up the gap in his teeth.

Michael Strahan appears to have said "goodbye" to the gap in between his two front teeth.

On Tuesday, the Good Morning America cohost posted a video to his social media channels showing him going into Smile Design Manhattan to close the gap. After taking dental impressions and undergoing some sort of treatment, the Super Bowl XLII champion is handed a mirror to look at his new smile — and judging by his reaction, he couldn't be happier.

"I love it!" Michael exclaimed while flashing a big grin.

Reacting to Michael's reveal, many celebrities showed their support for the former Giants football player. "Oh my gosh I love your gap, but you’re just as handsome without it! Do you!" ET's Nischelle Turner wrote. "Good for you!" football announcer and former player Troy Aikman said. "You look great either way dude. Just keep on smiling ! ❤️" singer Michael Buble commented. "Whatever makes you happy 👏👏," Jersey Shore star Jwoww declared. "Smile is still a million bucks! 😁," reality star Nikki Bella noted.

Still, Michael's former Giants teammate, Justin Tuck, seemed suspicious about the timing of the reveal three days before April Fools' Day. Just days ago, Michael proclaimed on Twitter that he "rocks his gap with pride."

That said, it's clear that closing up the gap has been something Michael has thought about before. In the past, Michael told Elle in 2012 that he had considered changing up his smile but ultimately decided against it.

"There's so much pressure to be perfect. You can fix everything now. For me, I made the conscious effort to say, 'This is who I am. I'm not perfect. I don't want to try to be perfect,'" Michael told the outlet at the time. "At this point, I don't think my kids would recognize me without it. They'd be like, 'Who is this stranger in the house? Call 911!'"

In the video posted this week, Michael addressed all of the opinions out there, but ultimately decided he was the one with the final say.

"If I go home and say I'm going to do it, it'll be 'don't do it.' If I post, it'll be 'don't do it.' If I talk to my friends, it'll be 'don't do it.' If I talk to my business partner, it'll be like 'don't do it.'" Michael explained on camera. "But I gotta do what I want to do for myself now."

That's right. Michael looks great either way and we should all be happy if he's happy!
