    If there is something to be concerned about, I guess it would be that Facebook hasn't grown its daily user base in North America in over a year. (Who else is there to add?)

    Facebook ($FB) earnings are out and no surprise, but they are good. Revenue was much higher than expected. Facebook made $26.17 billion in revenue over the first three months of the year, 48% higher than a year ago

    You'll notice one of the key arguments from FB is that tracking will help them "keep Facebook/Instagram free of charge" I imagine this line will work on a lot of people. Of course, if you don't accept tracking, FB won't suddenly start charging you

    FB is very concerned that if people only see the Apple prompt they will not allow tracking. That would be v bad for FB's targeted ads business

    Here is the pop-up that Facebook plans to show users right before they have to decide whether to allow FB to "track" them on iOS 14. So you'll see the FB screen first, then a version of this permissions screen from Apple (imagine "Venmo" is replaced with "Facebook")

    Brandon has been running comms at Twitter for the past 3+ years. Unfortunately he didn't get to work through any big or interesting news cycles while he was there but maybe in his next role!

    Hi, so, I have some news. As of June 10, I will be departing Twitter and handing over the keys to the Comms team. I'll try to keep this brief. (As my team knows, I’m going to fail at that.)
