Museum of Freemasonry
The Museum of Freemasonry is open 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday, except on public holidays, however there are social distancing measures in place. It is still free entry, but it is by timed ticket only and you will need to book your free ticket online in advance.
Your visit will include the Three Centuries of English Freemasonry exhibition in the North Gallery and the Familiar Faces exhibition in the corridor. The Library and Archives are open to researchers, Wednesday to Saturday by appointment. If you are a researcher you won’t need a general admission ticket, but you will have to email or telephone the Museum directly to book a slot.
There are no tours available at the moment.
Housed in Freemasons’ Hall, the Museum of Freemasonry displays one of the world’s largest collections associated with Freemasonry and draws from it to host regular exhibitions. Discover Winston Churchill’s apron or the throne made for the future King George IV, who was Royal Grand Master from 1790-1813. Admire the craftsmanship behind glass, jewellery and silverware and view the prints, engravings and photos that sum up the past.
