The Piers Morgan news was a bizarre learning curve

I'm not going to lie, I really didn't know much about Piers Morgan until his abrupt walk off a studio set on Tuesday after his co-host, Alex Beresford, on Good Morning Britain went against his constant criticism of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

"Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don't think she has, but yet you continue to trash her," said Beresford.

Not too long after, Morgan walked off the set, saying: "Sorry, no, sorry...see you later, sorry, can't do this."

Now, Morgan has since stated that he will no longer host Good Morning Britain.

On Monday, following the explosive CBS Oprah Winfrey segment with the couple, Markle revealed many things about her time within the royal family. Morgan said that the interview was"destructively self-serving nonsense from Meghan Markle", but he made no mention of Harry.

Interestingly, this blowout didn't start with the Good Morning Britain walkout. For years, Morgan has adamantly commented about his disdain for Markle, chastising her for taking Prince Harry away from the royal family.

Both Morgan and Markle met years ago. Apparently, he had followed her on Twitter, and then she had reportedly sent him a message explaining that she was a fan.

In 2016, They met up for a drink in London while she was in the area watching her friend iconic tennis player Serena Williams at Wimbledon.

"We had two hours in the pub, she had a couple of dirty martinis and a couple of pints — we got on brilliantly," said Morgan on The Late Show. "Then I put her in a cab, and it turns out it was the cab that took her to a party where she met Prince Harry...Meghan Markle ghosted me."

ITV has since released a statement which reads: released a short statement that reads: "Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add."

This whole ordeal seems a bit misogynistic and immature. In no way is Morgan entitled to time, friendship, companionship, or anything with Markle or any other woman if she is not interested.

All in all, for Morgan to think otherwise and then seemingly bash her name to millions of people highlights the reason why this behavior should have been removed from television a long time ago.
