eduroam

KU has joined a global consortium of nearly 6,000 institutions offering quick and easy access to local Wi-Fi networks via eduroam, a network access system developed for the international research and education community.

Email – Mobile Access

All KU email accounts are accessible on mobile devices via the KU Outlook Web App. You can also sync your KU email and calendar to your mobile device via Exchange ActiveSync.

Email - Personal

KU provides students, faculty and staff with 2 GB email accounts. A KU email account is automatically created when you set up a KU Online ID.

Email – Security/Encryption

Digital credentials are available for all current KU faculty, staff, and student staff. KU uses DigiCert certificates for email signing and encryption.

KU’s Lecture Capture service uses Echo360 appliances and software to enable faculty to schedule automatic recordings of lectures or presentations. Students can view those recordings and interact with others online regarding course material covered in the recordings.
