All KU faculty, staff and students are added automatically to the Skype for Business system. To begin using Skype for Business, you will need to have the software installed on your computer and/or mobile device:
KU-owned Workstations:
For faculty and staff workstations, your department's technology staff should install the software component on your KU-issued computer.
Personal computers - PC:
For personal or home use on a PC, Microsoft offers a free download of Skype for Business.
Personal computers - Mac:
For personal Mac computers, Microsoft offers a free download of Skype for Business.
Mobile Devices – Android and iOS:
Go to the KU Mobile Plaza to download Lync for your Android or iOS device.
Download Zoom App
Participants can join a Zoom meeting from anywhere in the world via the Zoom app. Download the Zoom app on your KU-owned workstation, personal computer, and/or mobile device at KU Zoom Video Conferencing.
Host and Schedule Meetings (Faculty, Staff, GTAs/GRAs)
A KU Pro Zoom account is required to host and schedule meetings. KU faculty, staff and GTAs/GRAs are eligible for KU Zoom Pro Accounts. Sign in with your KU Online ID at KU Zoom Video Conferencing to get a KU Pro Zoom account.

Larger Rooms
