    Ukraine Reform Conference, a key annual international event dedicated to an expert discussion on the progress of reforms in Ukraine, comes back in a new format. Last year the conference took place on July 2-4 in Toronto, Canada.

    Holding the Ukraine Reform Conference was an important step to unite Ukraine’s international partners and friends, and to assess the democratic transformations and reforms, that have been taking place in the country since 2014. 

    Preserving the achieved results, ensuring the irreversibility of reforms was be the core idea behind this year’s event.

    The two previous conferences (the 2017 Conference in London and the 2018 Conference in Copenhagen) were held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. This time, as usual, the conference is being organized by the Government of Ukraine. The President of Ukraine took part in the Conference.

    What’s on the Agenda

    The 2019 Ukraine Reform Conference was held for the first time in an interactive format. Besides the usual speeches of top officials and panel discussions, the attendees of the event got a chance to discover more about business and investment opportunities in Ukraine, and got familiar with products of Ukrainian creative industries at the unique Ukraine House platform.  

    The key issues on the agenda include the following:

    • Irreversibility of reforms in Ukraine
    • Decentralization reform, its opportunities, efficiency, and results
    • Ukraine on the path of integration into the Euro-Atlantic community
    • Ukraine: innovations, opportunities and investing

    Besides, the Ukraine House offered its guests a number of presentations by representatives of Ukrainian creative industries, B2B and networking activities.

    The key audience of Ukraine Reform Conference included foreign and Ukrainian officials, top-level businessmen, representatives of the EU member states, NATO, G7 and civil society leaders.
