Rimowa will be the first luggage sponsor at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, which kicks off Jan. 24 in Park City, Utah.

The LVMH brand will host an event with IndieWire during the festival celebrating first-time filmmakers, and will gift all new filmmakers with luggage and provide them with transportation. The brand will also debut a special-edition Park City luggage sticker — to be distributed during the festival — which will join Rimowa’s collection of destination luggage stickers.

“We’re proud to partner with such an iconic organization to support the work of these amazing storytellers,” says Hector Muelas, Rimowa’s chief brand officer. “At Rimowa, we strongly believe in supporting the global creative community and its emerging talents at the start of their journey.”

Rimowa celebrated its 120th anniversary in 2018, which was marked by collaborations with Supreme, Off-White, Fendi, Aesop and more.
