This photo represents 3-6212 (4651) one of two refugee Iraqi Mirage F1s with Anti-Ship overal grey color just before its first flight in IRIAF service. First Iranian Air Force Mirage F.1 pilot was Col.Behrooz Naghdi-Beik and his name is visible under canopy of the airplane. This flight was conducted while IRIAF's C-O-C Brig. Gen. Mansour Sattari was in the air base. This airplane is now the sole Mirage in this color in the IRIAF service. It is now awaiting for overhaul.

Caption
Taken after its post overhaul FCF. On 1st March, 1995, Capt. J Hellat Abadi and Col. Majid Mohebbi were tasked to fly on-board 3-6304 in a Instrument Flight Sortie. Airplane took off at 11:28 and after 35 minutes, while Hellat Abadi was attempting to land this Fulcrum on 29L RWY of Mehrabad airport, he lost control of the bird and went off the runway. Airplane landing gears were damaged very hard. Mehrabad overhaul center restored this bird between 2009 & 2013.

This tower is Architectural Symbol of Iran and espcially its capital Tehran, this tower was constructed under direct request of Her Majesty Queen Farah Diba between 1969 and 1971. This Tomcat belongs 81st Tactical Fighter Squadron (Gordane 81 Shekari Tactici) of 8th Tactical Fighter Base (Payegahe 8 Shekari Tactici). It can be seen here while was taxying toward 29L RWY to perform its first post overhaul F.C.F (Functional Check Flight). Its flight lasted 43 minutes and two malfunctions was observed by the test pilot. 20 mechanics and engineers work for 18 months to do Program Depot Maintenance of this machine in IACI company.

MiG-29 vs F-14! This Fulcrum has crashed during an ACM sortie over deserts of North of Qom's Salt Lake on 26th October 2012. Its pilot, Colonel Arash Shah-Mohammadi lost control of his jet because of heart attack.God bless his soul. Arash can be seen in this photo while he was taxying on 15 TWY to perfom a F.C.F (Functional Check Flight) after overhaul of his ex Iraqi jet. In the background F-14A 3-6028 was departing OIII to perform its F.C.F too.

Mehrabad overhaul center, restored 803 in 2011, and the airplane did its first functional check flight in January 2012, and this photo is taken more than 1 hour after start of the flight. As it is seen in the photo, it has strange angle of attack in final approach of 29L RWY and it was due to technical failure in one of the airplane`s systems. More than 20 firefighters were waiting beside of the RWY to provide safe emergecncy landing of this airplane, when I took this photo.

This Super Cougar was the first and leader of flag carriers during start of Malaysian 80th Anniversary of its Army foundation parade on 08:30 of 21st September. Royal Malaysian AF has ordered 12 of this helicopter. By now 6 one of this helicopter has been delivered.(Its French Registeration code was F-ZWBZ before its delivery). Helicopters are carryingRoyal Malaysian Army, Air Force and Navy flags together with Malaysian National flag.

Line up of 31st Tactical Fighter Squadron F-4Es are seen on 2nd Tactical Fighter Base main ramp during a gunnery training competation. 3-6684 is in front of them and was one of last batches of delivered F-4Es to IRIAF. It was ordered to be used by 92nd TFS and delivered in July of 1977, but the squadron never formed after revolution and its F-4Es passed into 12th TFS at Tehran. I love its AN/ALR-46 RWR system.

is operated by 31st Tactical Fighter Squadron. This photo is taken during sunset, but it is not Phantom II sunset, 3-6536 is delivered to 31st TFS on 28th September 1971. It was operated by 31st TFS for years, but it passed to 61st TFS in 1980`s and some years ago it was handed over 31st TFS again. This 42 years old machine is laughing to death because he will be alive till 2020.

It is coming from 12 manufactured batch of Sukhui in 1990 and 1991, which were the last manufactured Su-24Mk and had modernized ECM and Navigation system than others. A new four tone comouflage pattern was applied on the aircraft fuselage after its overhaul in 2010. Its dirty radome is made by bad quality of color.

7 Mirage F.1BQs together with 18 Mirage F.1EQs from Iraqi AF inventory came Iran some days before the biggest operation of Persian Gulf War I (Desert Storm) to be kept safe from coalition forces air raids. IRIAF took advantage them and more than 20 years later. This Mirage F.1BQ is first Mirage F.1 have been overhauled similar to the Dassault standards. A new Asian Minor II camouflage pattern was applied on that. In memory of Captain Fariborz Shammas who left his life currently and was loving this Mirage.

80th Anniversary of Malaysian Army Foundation parde was performed over Merdeka Square of Kuala Lumpur on the morning of 21st Septemeber. RMAAF participated with 8 Su-30MKMs, 5 F/A-18Ds, 2 C-130H-30s, 1 C-130H-MP, 3 CN-235-220Ms, 2 AS-61A-4s, and 2 2 EC-725s. Is the first prototype of Owj Industries "Saeghe".It was Vietnamese AF bird which was chosen to be modified with some major airframe changes such as new radome with different pitot tube,cube-shaped intake,bigger exhaust nozzle,whithout barrier hook and wingtip laucnhers.All of the changes were vain and now Owj has make them to their basic shape, also new vertical stablizers are installed instead the old ones.It is seen during its first check flight after these changes.Dedicate to DJ Dani.
