Withdraw
Withdrawing from the University of Kansas can have a number of consequences beyond leaving courses. Please select the appropriate checklist and follow the steps indicated to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible. Prior to withdrawing from KU, please be sure to see the academic calendar for withdrawal and refund deadlines. In addition, there are a number of items to consider before withdrawing.
- Dropping only some of your classes but remaining enrolled at KU for the semester
- Withdrawing from classes before the semester begins
- Withdrawing from all classes after the semester has started
- Leaving at the end of the semester and not returning
If you are withdrawing from a class or completing a full term withdrawal please use theÂ?Withdrawal Form. During this time the Office of the University Registrar will work with your School if additional approval for dropping or the full term withdraw is necessary. Please regularly check your University of Kansas email for important communications in regards to your drop/withdraw. When your form has been processed you will receive a confirmation email.Â?
