Long snapper Logan Klusman, who just completed his senior year, has been named an honorable mention All-American by Phil Steele.

Kansas true freshman cornerback Karon Prunty was named to the 247Sports True Freshman All-American Team, the outlet announced Wednesday, following Prunty’s breakout 2020 campaign.

Kansas football coach Les Miles announced Tuesday that Lee Grimes has been hired as offensive line coach. Grimes, a decorated former player and staff member at Texas A&M, spent the 2020 season at UNC Charlotte, and brings more than eight years of collegiate coaching experience to Lawrence.

Kansas football head coach Les Miles announced contract extensions for two major pieces of the Jayhawk defense on Monday, in defensive run game coordinator and defensive line coach Kwahn Drake and defensive backs coach Chevis Jackson. Both Drake and Jackson’s contracts have been extended through the 2021 season.

Wednesday marked the new era of Kansas football, as the Jayhawks introduced the 2021 signing class of the early signing period, welcoming 20 new members of the KU family.

27 members of the Kansas football team were recognized on the Academic All-Big 12 Teams, the Big 12 Conference announced on Friday, highlighted by 17 first team honorees and 10 second team honorees.
