Background Check

All offers of employment are contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the background check as outlined in the Criminal Background Check Policy ». After the candidate has accepted the offer and completed the Background Check Authorization Form, the background check process is automatically launched through KU’s third party vendor. Unsuccessful completion of the background check or failure to comply with the completion, will result in revocation of a contingent offer or terminating an existing position immediately. Please note that some KU positions on campus require a background check to be completed prior to the verbal offer being extended.
