COVID-19 Update
With public health and safety in mind, we have made some changes to the 2020–21 season. Learn more >
I know we’ve never announced a season under such unique circumstances. Our heart goes out to all of you who have undoubtedly been affected in some way. During this time of physical distancing, the profound power of the performing arts has become extremely apparent as music, theatre and dance have provided some sense of comfort, albeit virtually. I am so grateful to our staff, who have done an incredible job of adapting to the situation.
As we move forward, I kindly ask for your patience and flexibility. We are implementing a new (and hopefully temporary) ticketing policy in anticipation of the need for physical distancing during performances. We sincerely hope you understand that this policy prioritizes the health and safety of patrons, artists and the community.
To our Friends of the Lied, your support means the world to us, especially during these challenging times. There is no question that the arts are a uniting force, and we will get through this together.
ROCK CHALK!
—Derek S. Kwan, executive director
