About the speakers
Susannah Hammond, Senior Regulatory Intelligence Expert, Thomson Reuters
Susannah Hammond is a senior regulatory intelligence expert and joined our regulatory intelligence team from GE Capital Bank where she was head of compliance. Susannah has over 25 years’ wide-ranging experience in international and UK financial services.
A qualified chartered accountant, Susannah’s compliance career includes SG Warburg, Caspian Securities and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She was head of international regulatory risk for the Halifax Group and became head of retail regulatory risk for HBOS plc upon Halifax’s merger with Bank of Scotland.
Rachel Wolcott, Chief UK/European Correspondent (Financial Regulatory Compliance)
Rachel Wolcott is senior editor in Risk, for Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence. She has more than 20 years' experience covering banking and financial markets in New York and London, writing on everything from private banking and capital markets to derivatives, cybercrime, Fintech and Regtech.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence in 2011, Rachel held senior editorial positions on Euromoney magazine, Risk magazine, and Institutional Investor Newsletters. Rachel holds a BA in Literature and Languages from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, as well as a MA in Humanities and Social Sciences from New York University
