Network licenses and installation media for this program are provided by the GSD.

To use network-licensed software you are required to be on the GSD wired network, on the Harvard Secure wifi, or logged into VPN while working remotely.

To begin the installation, double-click on the VRay Next for Rhino.exe.  After agreeing to the License terms you will proceed to Installation Parameters.

Select Rhinoceros 6, and Chaos Cloud to enable the ability to use the cloud render service if you choose to do so and then select Next

Next, select Remote V-Ray License Server on the Network and enter the

Primary License server: GSDLICENSE.UNIVERSITY.HARVARD.EDU

Alternate License Server: GSDLICENSE2.UNIVERSITY.HARVARD.EDU

Once completed, you can test that V-Ray was installed and activated successfully by launching Rhino, selecting the Render menu and selecting V-Ray for Rhino from the Current Renderer menu option

If you did not set the license server correctly during the installation, you can update your license settings by clicking on the Start menu > Programs > Chaos Group > Change V-Ray License Settings
(You may need to right-click and choose ‘Run as Administrator' when launching this)
