To request permission to reproduce material from Checkpoint, PPC, RIA WG&L or any other Thomson Reuters copyrighted material, please complete and submit a Copyright/Reprint Permission form (Case).
Requirements: Materials covered by any reprint request must be from the most current edition of the underlying product and you or your firm must have an active subscription to that product.
Follow these steps:
- Click the Cases tab at the top of this screen and select the following:
- Inquiry Type: Product Guidance
- Inquiry Description: Request Copyright / Permissions / Reprint
- Product Type: Select a product from the list of products.
- In the Subject field: Fill in the Individual Product Name that includes the materials you want to use.
- In the Description field: You MUST include the following information:
(Tip: You may want to copy the 4 items below and paste this into the description field of the case so you don't forget something):
- Exact Materials: Be very specfic. Your information should include a detailed listing of the title of each practice aid, checklist, form, quote, chapter, paragraph or exhibit #. to be reproduced.Be very specific)
- Intended Audience: (i.e., firm, clients, prospective clients, or attendees at a seminar. If seminar, request must include seminar name, date, location and sponsoring organization.)
- Number of Copies Requested: The number of copies to be made (i.e., number of seminar attendees, etc.)
- Date Needed
- Complete any other required fields (note the red to the left of the field)
- Click Submit. (If you have other information you want Thomson Reuters to know, you can attach a document to your Case form. Click Submit & Add Attachment instead of clicking Submit.)
To consider your request you must provide all of the information listed in the steps above.
Other Requirements and Limitations:
- The number of pages allowed for reprint is limited to a maximum of 15. Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting reserves the right to not grant reprint permissions at its own discretion.
- Please allow 10 working days to process your request.
- To expedite, a fee of $100 will be imposed.
If permission is granted, Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting will provide the required attribution or permission statement that must be added to the bottom of each reprinted page. Any practice aid, checklist, or form must contain a large stamp entitled 'SAMPLE' placed boldly across the face of each page. (This is required to prevent the unauthorized reproduction by recipients.)
Posting of Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting materials on any website or electronic media is strictly prohibited.
