What’s New

Version 6.1.1

We fixed a bug that caused iPad users to lose their place in a story after leaving the app.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” —Martin Luther King Jr., August 1963 issue

The Adult in American Political and Social Thought

Journalism that is more valuable than ever — a go to source for anyone who believes a well-informed, critically thinking citizenry of independent thought is still essential for a flourishing society.

Digitally, The Atlantic is both pulse and perspective on the relevant issues of importance with content that is digestible and accessible. (I really like the internal links to other articles, as well as other sites.)

The magazine is the place for big ideas and emerging issues with writing that is thought provoking, trustworthy, and typically fascinating. Liberal bias? They are so far above any such labeling with some of the best minds in a diverse cross section of experience and sensibilities, and content that is a worthy addition to knowledge.

Decent App

This is a good magazine and a decent app. I appreciate the developers fixing the scrolling bug that was so irritating. However, I still would like to be able to search for articles, and wish I had some control of the column width for easier reading. I still prefer to read in Safari sometimes to have better control.

Original Review: Loses place in article

This is a great magazine but I have some problems with the app. First, if you leave in the midst of reading a long article to say, check you email, upon your return the app returns to the top of the article and you lose your place. I’ve never seen another reading app do this! Please fix it. It is so annoying I often read long articles in Safari instead of this app. Second, I’d like to be able to control the margin size in addition to the font size. The column width is too wide on a full-size iPad to be comfortable for me. Otherwise, I find this app easy to navigate and like it.

We’ve fixed this bug in the latest 6.1.1 update. Please try it out. Thank you for your patience.

Their latest ‘anonymous sources’ bulldada now typical

This magazine used to be decent. Now, when the Komrade-supreme defecates a story onto American brains from the Left side of Reality, supposedly supplied by ‘reputable anonymous sources’ (aka an hallucination he had while doing crack and Quaaludes), they have thrown journalism out the back door and proven their alliance and compliance with America’s Politburo and Communist Disinformation Services. Their job is to supply Low Information Americans and “useful idiots” - LIA’s don’t know Vlad Lenin’s term for stupid LIAs that perpetuate communist propaganda despite factual ignorance of it - with disinformation, inflammatory leftist rhetoric, and building blocks for their own Leftist Cult reality-alternative to keep those same morons ignorant and pliable.

Any app that defecates the Atlantic’s Leftist Garbage onto American eyes is not worth looking at, unless you like wiping that molten, foul-smelling bullarkey off your face after it irreparably scars you. You’ll never get the time back that you waste reading this propaganda straight out of Hitler’s and Stalin’s American descendants.
