Summer Classes

Summer classes here at the University of Kansas are a great option for students who wish to ensure their own timely graduation to get those last few required courses out of the way.  By taking summer classes, students are able to graduate faster, catch up to speed, or merely get a few of those pesky classes out of the way without taking up valuable time during the normal Fall and Spring semesters.

Enrollment in summer classes begins the first Friday after Spring Break ends for continuing students.

College of Liberal Arts and Science students are allowed to take a maximum of 10 credit hours for the summer semester.
