The request for proposals (RFP) has been issued by the Institute of International Education (IIE), which supports the U.S. Department of State in its implementation of the Gilman Program.

Gilman and CLS Advisor Workshops provide an opportunity for advisors to highlight strategies for supporting students competing for national, merit-based scholarships. They equip advisors with in-depth resources for and updates to the Gilman and CLS Programs, and strengthen the Gilman and CLS advisor networks for future sharing of resources and practices. IIE anticipates awarding three contracts to institutions across different geographic locations to host workshops.

This opportunity is open to all accredited U.S. institutions of higher education from associate’s colleges through doctoral universities. The Gilman and CLS Programs seek to engage the full diversity of U.S. higher education, including community colleges and Minority Serving Institutions.
