KU LIbraries
The KU Libraries offers open lab space at many of their locations. You can find locations and hours on the KU Libraries website. Click on a library name for information about computer labs.
Kansas Union
Computers and a multi-function printer are available in the Jayhawk Ink space on the 2nd floor of the Kansas Memorial Union. Check hours on the Kansas Union website.
Schools and Departments
In addition to the spaces at the KU Libraries and the Kansas Union, you may find open lab space within your individual school or department. These spaces may be restricted to students enrolled with the school or department.
The Edwards Campus has both public, open computing areas in the Regents Center building, “Hawks Nest” and in the BEST building in the east lobby. There are reserved, 30-seat teaching labs in BEST 170 and Regnier Hall 364. These can be reserved by completing the Edwards Campus Computer Lab Reservation form. There is also a mobile computing laptop cart, which can be reserved using the Mobile Laptop Cart Request form. You may contact the Academic Technology team at kuec_edtech@ku.edu should you have any questions.
Can't make it to a computer lab? Access many of the most popular programs in campus labs anytime and anywhere you have an Internet connection via KU’s Virtual Lab.
Multifunction devices (MFD) offer printing, copying and scanning services and are located in public computer labs and at standalone locations throughout the KU campus. At the start of the fall and spring semesters, currently enrolled students receive $8 of free printing, and $4 of free printing in the summer. Visit Print, Copy & Scan for more information.
