Yes, the gray gets old and the clearing line never quite made it into MSP yesterday. A puff of cooler air should finally clear us out today, with enough sunshine on Saturday for upper 40s to near 50F. It does cool off again early next week but I continue to see evidence of a Pacific signal into early December, meaning more 40s - and little chance of significant snow accumulation anytime soon.
I'm tired of the gray too, although November and December are, on paper, the cloudiest months of the year. The sun should stage a comeback today and linger into Saturday as temperatures mellow. We may sample 50F in the metro area Saturday before temperature tumble early next week. Nothing gasp-worthy, but a reminder that it's late November and the Winter Solstice is less than a month away.
