    These are PUBLIC records that should have been handed over a long time ago. Instead, wasted valuable taxpayer resources fighting in order to keep information about the Key deer's status secret. That's bad for the Key deer. And bad for taxpayers.

    A federal judge has ordered the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to hand over records regarding the endangered Key deer to the Sierra Club — and said the agency would have to find a better explanation for not releasing the earlier drafts too.

    ASR wells are NOT Everglades restoration, and restoration funds should not be used to build them. They are a water storage tool for agriculture, and nothing more. Another gift to big sugar.

    Another nature-defying, expensive solution that’s likely to cost taxpayers more in the long run. Buying the land would be a far better solution for Everglades restoration.
