How We Select DC's Best Real Estate Agents

August 31, 2020

The Process

To arrive at this list, we sent surveys to more than 50,000 Washingtonian subscribers and nearly 2,000 agents who made last year’s Best Agents and Top Producers lists. We asked both groups for the names of agents they’ve most enjoyed working with, based on a number of criteria including market knowledge and integrity.

For those househunting in particular areas, we’ve included neighborhoods where each agent does business. But these are only examples. Many work all over Washington.

Who are Top Producers?

Here are agents and teams who produced among the highest sales volumes last year, along with the places where they’re licensed. The list includes agents in DC; Prince George’s, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Howard counties in Maryland; and Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties and Alexandria in Virginia. If your real-estate office didn’t receive a Top Producers survey this year and you’d like to participate in 2020, contact senior editor Marisa M. Kashino.
