Room Reservations

Course & Room Scheduling, a division of the Office of the University Registrar, handles all daytime, evening and weekend scheduling of centrally scheduled classrooms. All reservations are subject to existing University policies and restrictions. Use of centrally scheduled classroom space will only be permitted by University schools and departments or by recognized student groups that are in good standing with the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. Use the room reservation form to begin a reservation request.

General Rules Regarding Centrally Scheduled Classrooms

Inquiries regarding room availability over the telephone, by email or via an online or faxed form do not confirm a reservation nor do they hold space for your event. Only an electronic reservation confirmation sent to you by a room reservation coordinator guarantees that the room has been reserved.

• No food or drink is allowed in a centrally scheduled classroom.
• Please allow set-up and breakdown time in your reservation request, if needed.
• KU IT Classroom Technology Support, 785-864-1200, must be notified at least 2-3 business days in advance of your event, if media equipment training is needed or if anything beyond lights is required for an auditorium reservation.

Note: Each semester, all classes and special exams are placed before event requests are placed. No reservations can be placed for the week of final exams until final exams have been placed.

Weekend Reservations Note: If you are using a room in a building other than Wescoe, Malott or Learned, you will need to provide access to the room and building. KU Public Safety will not unlock.
