Visit EOA's new Federal Road page, which is part of the Federal Road Initiative, a program of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System to highlight sites of historical and cultural interest on or near the path of the Old Federal Road. The road, which stretched from Milledgeville, Georgia, to coastal Alabama, contributed to the development and growth of communities in Alabama.

Anniversaries connected to them will converge between 2011 and 2015 and this section helps tell the storyof events that unfolded 200, 150, and 50 years ago.
