It’s not too late to respond! Using Statistics in Schools resources will support efforts to make sure EVERY child is counted in the 2020 Census. This count impacts the federal funds that communities receive for special education, classroom technology, teacher training, after-school programs, school lunch assistance, and more. These teacher-created resources for pre-K through 12th grade also are easy to adapt for home learning. The teacher version of each activity comes with instructions that make it simple for parents and other caregivers to use it.
Teacher-designed. Teachers helped create and review each activity to make sure it is valuable and engaging.
Easy to use. Materials are free, easily customized, and supportive of existing lesson plans.
Valuable. SIS enhances learning, boosts statistical literacy, and prepares students for a data-driven world.
Bring data close to home by helping students collect, analyze, and compare kid-friendly information about their own state.
