Dr. Salisa Westrick, Department head (Healthy Outcomes Research and Policy) and Sterling Professor in the Harrison School of Pharmacy is an invited speaker at the 2020 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Interim Meeting as part of the Research Symposium in Puerto Rico. The focus of the research symposium is building partnerships. Dr. Westrick’s session is about "Building a research portfolio through collaborative partnerships". In the session Dr. Westrick will share her success stories with other AACP members. Dr. Westrick’s success began with seed funding from AU Outreach. Seven years later Dr. Westick’s collaborative relationship with the state and local agencies is stronger than ever. Dr. Westick intends to recognize the impact of the University Outreach internal Competitive Outreach Scholarship program for her subsequent successes.
