Jessica Chastain has signed on for a lead role in the upcoming HBO limited series “Scenes From a Marriage” opposite Oscar Isaac, Variety has confirmed.

Chastain takes over for Michelle Williams, who exited the series due to scheduling issues. The role reunites Isaac and Chastain, who previously starred together in the 2014 feature “A Most Violent Year.”

This marks the latest TV project for Chastain. It was announced in September that she would star as country singer Tammy Wynette in a limited series for Spectrum, Paramount Network, and Paramount Plus. She is a two-time Academy Award nominee for her work on

In the latest TV ratings, CBS’ special Friday installment of Big Brother drew 3 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating, marking Season 22 lows yet tying Shark Tank for the night’s non-sports demo win. Leading out of that, Undercover Boss (2.2 mil/0.3) hit and tied season lows.

Fox’s coverage of the World Series Game 3 averaged 5.9 mil and a 1.3, down 18 and 28 percent from the preliminary numbers for the first two match-ups, yet still easily dominating the night.

Entertainment-analytics startup Vody is coming out of stealth after more than two years of development and testing. Nina Wolarsky, Netflix’s vice president of original series – drama, is set to leave the streamer after an eight-year tenure, Variety has learned. Wolarsky’s exit was prompted by a recent change in her role at the company, according to sources, which likely figured as part of the adjustments Bajaria is making among her executive ranks.
