The Earthshot Prize – launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation is the most prestigious global prize for the environment in history. The Prize will incentivise change and help to repair our planet over the next ten years, a critical decade for the Earth.

Alongside this work, some of the world’s most iconic species continue to be killed by criminals, with species poached to extinction. In response to this threat, United for Wildlife agreed on an initial focus on the threat posed by illegal wildlife trade and has pledged to work together to help make a difference.

We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to our emergency services. The current crisis has shown their personal sacrifice and willingness to put the interests of others above their own. This work was born out of a recognition that, even in normal times, the work of the emergency responder community places tremendous demands on their mental health and wellbeing. Most recently, The Duke and the Foundation convened a new Emergency Services Senior Leaders Board to address mental health.

It is simply wrong that 330,000 people in Britain lose their jobs each year due to mental health, or that one in 10 children has a diagnosable condition. Through campaigning and projects, developed and delivered in partnership with leading charities in the UK, we are working together to change this.
