The San Francisco medical examiner's office has identified a 57-year-old man who died after crashing his vehicle into a building early Tuesday morning as Dewayne Phoenix.
According to police, the crash happened around 12:35 a.m. Tuesday near the corner of Turk and Arguello boulevards in the city's Lone Mountain neighborhood.
Phoenix reportedly crashed into a residential building and was pronounced dead at the scene. While the building sustained damage, no other injuries were reported, police said.
