While the news lately has been full of cancellations, fans of Syfy’s Chucky and Reginald the Vampire will be happy to learn that both shows have been renewed. Chucky‘s Season 3 renewal at Syfy and USA shouldn’t be much of a surprise, with the continuation of the Child’s Play saga highly acclaimed by both fans of the killer doll franchise and newcomers alike. According to Deadline, the Don Mancini-created show was a top 10 drama in the much sought-after 18-49 demo. Genre vets Jennifer Tilly, Brad & Fiona Dourif, and Devon Sawa all star on the well-reviewed series opposite Zackary Arthur. Chucky yule log video keeps the holiday festivities going
Christmas weekend has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean the holiday festivities have to end – and since winter is here in full force, it’s definitely still fireplace weather. So it doesn’t feel like it’s too late to share the Chucky yule log video that was released by the folks at Syfy last week. The video is, sadly, geoblocked, but if you can see it you’ll find the heartwarming sight of horror icon Chucky sitting beside a fireplace – a Christmas tree nearby and stockings hung with care. And this is a video you’ll be able to keep on in the background for 70 minutes.

Chucky season 2, which aired on both Syfy and USA Network, wrapped up its eight episode run in late November with a season finale that was set on Christmas. There’s still no word on whether or not we’ll be getting

12 Shows Like Cobra Kai That You Should Check Out

12 Shows Like Cobra Kai That You Should Check Out
"Cobra Kai" is such a phenomenon that when its initial streaming service, YouTube Red, crashed and burned, Netflix swooped in with the renewal. What started as a show subverting the "Karate Kid" franchise by picking up the story from the point of view of middle-aged former villain Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), transformed over five seasons into a sprawling mini-epic involving Lawrence, former archrival Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio), their families, a whole new generation of karate students, and the return of several old enemies and allies who cannot let the past go.

Once you've binged it multiple times, what next? Where else can you get the thrill of '80s heroes dealing with toxic masculinity and youthful characters supplanting them, bad guys realizing they're actually good, and lots of telenovela-level twists? Glad you asked. For some, or even all, of those TV show qualities elsewhere on your control panel, check out

‘Cocaine Bear’: Watch The Bonkers Trailer For The Bear Attack Film Starring Keri Russell
The latest movie trailer to take the internet by storm is one for the upcoming film, “Cocaine Bear”. As seen in the extended preview for the upcoming action-packed, blood-filled horror comedy, which is (shockingly) inspired by true events, a black bear goes on the offensive after consuming an insane amount of cocaine and terrorizes a variety of people in the local area.

According to Universal Pictures, after a trafficker’s plane crashes in a Georgia forest, a 500-pound apex predator ingests the drugs that fell out before turning on a “group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens” while “on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow … and blood.”

Directed by Elizabeth Banks, who shared the trailer on Twitter with the caption, “the forest is a dangerous place,” the film stars Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson, Jr., Christian Convery-Jennings, Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Brooklynn Prince, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Kristofer Hivju, Hannah Hoekstra,

Chucky: Don Mancini Teases Possible Return of Lachlan Watson & Devon Sawa
USA Network and Syfy’s massive hit Chucky not only slayed viewership numbers with its second season but also boasted an impressively high kill count. And, with an army of Chuckys on the loose, no one was safe from their brutal wrath. The departure of two actors, in particular, has fans wondering if they’ll be back in the future, with Devon Sawa’s Father Bryce meeting an explosive demise during an exorcism gone horribly wrong, and Lachlan Watson’s Glen and Glenda returning to their doll vessel after Glen was fatally shot.

Chucky Season 2 Ending Explained: It's A Ho-Ho-Horrifically Fun Finale

Chucky Season 2 Ending Explained: It's A Ho-Ho-Horrifically Fun Finale
Sometimes it seems like the entirety of "Chucky" season 2 was just one, giant, collective hallucination by the fans. The season kicked off with a Halloween special, threw the main tweens into Catholic school for some fun (with a weirdly hot priest played by Devon Sawa), and gave Jennifer Tilly a "Bound" reunion/solo episode that allowed her to remind the world why she's an Academy Award-nominated performer. Fiona Dourif has continued a masterful reign at playing multiple characters inhabiting her character Nica Pierce's body, including often having to imitate the voice of Charles Lee Ray/Chucky, who has been played by her father, Brad Dourif, for nearly three-and-a-half decades.

There have been exploding members of the clergy, live-action Glen and Glenda played by Lachlan Watson ("The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina"), an "Apocalypse Now" era Marlon Brando-impersonating Chucky doll, a pacifist Chucky doll, and the unforgettable "Buff Chuck." It was

The Queer Horror of “Chucky”: Episode 2.07 – ‘Goin’ to the Chapel’

The Queer Horror of “Chucky”: Episode 2.07 – ‘Goin’ to the Chapel’
Each week Joe Lipsett will highlight a key scene or interaction in S02 of Don Mancini’s Chucky series to consider how the show is engaging with and contributing to queer horror.

The time has come to finally tackle queerness in the Church. When it was revealed that Chucky S02 would take place at a Catholic school and Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) would likely face the wrath of priests and nuns, I anticipated this topic would come up at some point.

Before the season debuted, Don Mancini was interviewed about the new location and addressed how Catholicism would play into season two. Per i09:

“One of the struggles that young gay people often have is tension with their faith,” Mancini said. “As a kid who was raised Catholic, I certainly had authority figures waving their fingers at me, telling me that I

Chucky Season 2 Episode 7 Recap: Exorcism for Dummies

Chucky Season 2 Episode 7 Recap: Exorcism for Dummies
“Goin’ to the Chapel” goes big in all the ways a penultimate episode of Chucky needs to. There are surprise deaths and plot threads tied up. Things will always get worse before they get better, right? A black and white confession gets everything started. Jake (Zachary Arthur) talks to Father Bryce (Devon Sawa), expressing his guilt for all the deaths Chucky (Brad Dourif) has done, even going back to Season 1. In what will be a motif, all color is stripped from the scene except the red stripe to Jake’s uniform. When the story jumps back to the end of last week’s “He Is Risen Indeed,” Nadine’s (Bella Higginbotham) death is fresh on his mind. Jake goes so far as to choke Good Chucky but Dr. Mixter (Rosemary Dunsmore), pointing her gun once again, stops it. The fact Andy and Mixter both fell down a flight of stairs and are up and about,

Chucky Season 2 Episode 7 Review: Goin' To The Chapel

Chucky Season 2 Episode 7 Review: Goin' To The Chapel
If there's one thing certain after Chucky Season 2 Episode 7, Charles Lee Ray, aka Chucky, will never be gone.

I'm sure the teenagers and adults thought the horror was over, but plenty is on the agenda because we have at least one more left.

Somehow, Chucky always beats the odds, and hopefully, it changes with Chucky Season 2 Episode 8, the season finale.

The series has had a great run, and when you factor in the movies, it's a good idea to think about an endgame.

"Goin' To The Chapel" could have been the perfect series-ender if not for the final revelation that Chucky and Dr. Mixter had another plan all along.

Several arcs reached a denouement, meaning that the series will have to pivot considerably if it wants to leave anything on the table for a potential Chucky Season 3.

Chucky's reign of terror forever changed Andy and Kyle's lives on multiple occasions throughout their younger years,

“Chucky” Season 2 Review – The Penultimate Episode Throws a Raging Exorcism Party

“Chucky” Season 2 Review – The Penultimate Episode Throws a Raging Exorcism Party
This is it. The major death that ended last week’s episode of Don Mancini’s “Chucky” opened the floodgates, setting the stage for an epic conclusion to season two. All bets are off in the season’s penultimate episode, “Goin’ to the Chapel.” Reunions, revelations, and shocking deaths ensue when converging paths lead to an explosive final confrontation.

There’s a sense of finality to episode seven as nearly every character has reached their breaking point. Andy (Alex Vincent), Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) want to put an end to Chucky’s murder streak once and for all. So do Kyle (Christine Elise) and Nica (Fiona Dourif), but not before they purge Chucky Prime from Nica’s body. To do that, they’ll all have to forge a temporary truce with Dr. Mixter (Rosemary Dunsmore) and the staff caught in the middle
