The World’s Best B-Schools to Get an MBA
Bloomberg Businessweek ranked 131 business schools around the world to find the best programs to get an MBA. The 2019–20 Best B-Schools results were broken down into four regions: U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Canada. Repeat winners topped the list in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and nine schools were ranked for the first time. Results were based on 26,804 survey responses from MBA students, alumni, and recruiters on their goals and experiences as well as compensation and employment data from each school.

In the U.S. ranking, Stanford was best, tallying top scores for compensation and entrepreneurship. Dartmouth’s Tuck school was one of the biggest movers, jumping 17 spots to second place on improved scores for networking and learning. Harvard remained no. 3.
IMD topped the Europe ranking for the second consecutive year, scoring no. 1 in compensation, networking, and learning. INSEAD was ranked second, switching places with London Business School, which dropped to third.
In the Asia-Pacific region, CEIBS repeated as the top school, with HKUST again taking the second spot. National University of Singapore edged up one spot, to third. Newly ranked Indian School of Business was next, with the school scoring first in learning and networking.
Ivey was ranked no. 1 in Canada, boosted by top scores in compensation, learning, and networking. Smith business school at Queen’s University climbed one spot, to no. 2. No. 3 was University of Toronto’s Rotman, which was ranked for the first time.
