Can I manage my subscription online?
Our subscription management page allows you to place a vacation hold, update contact information, review your account history, pay online and provide delivery feedback. Subscription management can be accessed directly through your account or through Member Center.

Visitors approaching their monthly story limit will receive a pop-up alert notifying them they’re reaching their limit.
What is Premium Digital Access? What do I get when I subscribe?
To get unlimited access to StarTribune.com, the eEdition and Star Tribune apps, you’ll need a Premium Digital Access subscription. When you subscribe, you can view all the articles, blog posts and other content you want—across all digital platforms. Readers without a subscription can read a limited number of articles every 30 days. Sign up now.
I already get home delivery. Is digital access included?
Current subscribers who have the newspaper delivered at least two days per week receive Digital Access at no additional charge. This includes unlimited access to StarTribune.com on any device and our phone and tablet news apps. This subscription does not include access to the eEdition, the digital replica of the newspaper. For a small additional charge, you can add Premium Digital Access to a Sunday-only or other home delivery subscription which includes the eEdition.

Can I have more than one login for my subscription?
Every digital subscription can have up to five logins linked to it. First, create a login at StarTribune.com/membercenter. To link it to your subscription, go to StarTribune.com/activate. How can I change my username?
If you would like to change your username, please contact us at support@startribune.com and send along your current username and three new username choices that are 6-12 characters long.
How do I log in?
Desktop: When you go to StarTribune.com, look in the upper right hand side of the screen to "log in.” If you registered using your email address, put in your email and password. If you registered using your Facebook account, click on the continue with Facebook button. Once the page refreshes back to the home page, in the place of "log in" you should see your username or email displayed, verifying that you are logged in.
Mobile: When you go to StarTribune.com, look below the header in the right hand side of the screen to "log in.” If you registered using your email address, put in your email and password. If you registered using your Facebook account, click on the continue with Facebook button. Once the page refreshes back to the home page, in the place of "log in" you should see "your account", verifying that you are logged in.
Please be sure you are logged in whenever you are reading Star Tribune content to avoid being prompted to log in while reading an article.
Note: If you are already registered using an email address, you cannot also sign in with Facebook.

Can I view eEdition in different modes?
Yes. The new version of eEdition offers multiple viewing modes – the traditional replica view, the scannable digest view that many mobile readers prefer, and dynamic view which displays visual tiles. You can change this by clicking on your preferred view in the upper right corner of the site.

What is Dynamic view?
Dynamic view offers a rich image block of every story in the paper. The format is easily scannable and is cleanly organized to allow you to quickly choose the story you want to read.
Can I save the font size I want to use to read eEdition?
Yes. Within an article page, click on A- or A+ to decrease or increase the font size. When you close your session and then return to eEdition, your article viewing size will display at your last setting.
How can I quickly go to other sections in the eEdition?
Click on the ‘Pages’ tab at the bottom of your screen to quickly access any page in the newspaper (available in Replica view only). You can also click on "TOC" in the upper left-hand corner of the menu to quickly select a section and headline.

How can I go back to the front page of the paper?

How can I tell where I am in the paper?
The label in the bottom left corner of the screen is a breadcrumb that shows the section you are currently reading. Hover on it to get a popup display of all sections in the paper (available in Replica view only – Digest and Dynamic have built-in section labels).
Can I read the eEdition offline?
You have two options for saving offline. Click on the "Download" button in the toolbar and select either "Save for offline" or "Download PDF." Do not close your browser in "Save for offline" mode otherwise you won’t be able to read the eEdition offline. When you download a PDF, you may save it on your device for reading later and you can close your browser.

How can I comment on a Star Tribune article?
To comment, you must have an active login and username. To create a login, go to StarTribune.com/membercenter and register. In member center, you can then create a username which will display next to comments on the desktop and mobile sites.
Why can’t I comment when I’m logged in?
If you are logged in and haven’t created a username, you will be redirected to member center where you will create a username. It is then recommended you logout and log back into the site to comment.
