Authorities said Kendrell Antron Watkins was hospitalized at Northport DCH after Tuscaloosa police officers used a Taser to subdue him after he ran naked into the street. He was alert en route to the hospital and told officer he had smoked synthetic marijuana, but then died about 1 ½ hours after he arrived at the hospital.
