Amazon to break ground in Richmond for a brand new state-of-the-art fulfillment center. The building, located on 93.5 acres at off Harlem Road, will have an 850,000-square-foot footprint and is expected to bring 1,000 jobs to the local community. At the new fulfillment center employees will work alongside Amazon robotics to pick, pack and ship small items to customers such as books, electronics and toys. The fulfillment center is set to launch in 2021. Although these jobs aren't live yet you can still take a look at positions Amazon is hiring for.

Target is boosting employee minimum wage to 15 dollars an hour, that's double the federal minimum wage and two dollars more than the company's current 13 dollar an hour pay. This also comes with a one-time 200-dollar bonus for frontline workers which is on top of what nearly 20-thousand hourly employees received in April. This is expected to go into effect July 5th.
