We carefully consider each application with the goal of adding dimension to our diverse, challenging community of scholars. So we're likely to be just as interested in you as you are in us. And the strongest applications are not always those with the greatest number of accomplishments, but those that resonate with authenticity and passion.

Apply for undergraduate admission to SMU as a:

• First-Year Student (Domestic) | Students who graduate from a high school within the U.S.

• First-Year Student (International) | Students who graduate from a high school outside of the U.S.

• Traditional Transfer Student | Students who will transfer in 24+ college credits after high school graduation.

• First-Year Transfer Student | Students who have fewer than 24 transferable hours or who have graduated from high school within the last calendar year.

• International Transfer Student | Students who have graduated from a high school outside of the U.S. who have fewer than 24 transferable hours/who have graduated from high school within the last calendar year OR who will transfer in 24+ college credits after high school graduation.

• Readmit | Students who have withdrawn from SMU within one year and are in good academic standing.
