School Holiday Activities

Join us in the school holidays for events and activities for all ages. The workshops are a great way to introduce your family to the world of theatre, whether they want to learn about the skills that go into performing on stage or the craft that create the worlds they perform in. As well as workshops and demonstrations there are lots of free activities that will help you discover Shakespeare's stories and characters too.

Easter Holiday Activities

Family-friendly facilities

There are baby changing facilities in all ladies' toilets. Men who require baby changing facilities can use our accessible toilets in the Swan Theatre and Rooftop Restaurant.

We're pram-friendly too: there is level access throughout the building with lifts to all floors. We can store prams in our cloakroom during the day on request. We are also a breastfeeding friendly venue.

In our Rooftop Restaurant, the Riverside Cafe and Susie's Cafe Bar at The Other Place you will find colouring sheets and activities to play while you eat.

Whilst visiting with your family, there are lots of free daily activities to discover in both the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and The Other Place.
